Takeaways
- The lip sync battle between Maya and Megami was underwhelming, with both queens failing to fully capture the essence of the song.
- Maya's self-proclaimed title of 'lip sync assassin' may be premature, as her performance in this episode was not as strong as she believes.
- Plasma's behavior and attitude continue to rub the hosts the wrong way, with her lack of struggle and self-assuredness making her unlikable.
- The role assignments for the rusicla challenge were not evenly distributed, leading to some queens feeling overshadowed and others feeling overlooked.
- The hosts question the classification of the rusical as a true musical, as it lacks live singing and relies heavily on lip syncing and dancing. The contestants showcased their talent and delivered strong performances in the rusical segment.
- The runway looks were exceptional, with the queens stepping up their game.
- The choreography segment with Adam Shankman was well-received, and Melissa McCarthy's appearance provided a nice touch.
- The episode highlighted the importance of being true to oneself and standing up for what one wants, as demonstrated by the contestants' actions.
