What are the Wolves going to do without point guards? What about the banged-up Suns? Lots of guys to play here.

NBA Weekend Recap Podcast Jan 20, 2019

Show notes

Hey, so it's been a while since I did a weekend recap pod, but there is just too much going on! We're getting close to the stretch run, so lots of schedule input, takes galore, all the injuries and a lot more.

Starting off with talk on DeMarcus Cousins and how it will affect the other Warriors. Plus, the Clippers are short on scoring with Danilo Gallinari and Lou Williams banged up.

Lonzo Ball also went down, and a lot of teams could starting tanking hard.

Hope you guys enjoy and share! Thanks!

Show notes

DeMarcus Cousins is back! We'll talk about that at the top and what it could mean when you throw in a guy who hangs around a 35 usage rate over the last two seasons.

Plus, Doc Rivers sounds like he wants to make some changes. We'll throw out some ideas there for who it could be.

Jarrett Allen is smashing and the Heat have a messy rotation. That stuff and lots more in this edition.

15 Names to Watch on Waivers Jan 16, 2019

Show notes

Matt Stroup and Jared Johnson highlight 15 players owned in 25 percent or less of Yahoo leagues. Among them: Austin Rivers (who shouldn't be so widely available based on his recent production), DeAndre Bembry (lighting it up for the shorthanded Hawks) and Phoenix Suns rookie/high upside stash Mikal Bridges. Plus, the potential impact of Shabazz Napier for the Nets going forward.

Top Fantasy Waiver Pickups - Week 14 Jan 14, 2019

Show notes

Matt Stroup and Steve Alexander run down the top waiver wire options in fantasy basketball, stopping for a second to marvel at an impressive run from Derrick White. Plus, a trio of intriguing options in Phoenix, from defensive ace De'Anthony Melton to a suddenly efficient Josh Jackson and a scalding hot Kelly Oubre. We also consider the outlook for Derrick Jones Jr. and Bam Adebayo in the volatile Miami rotation, and consider taking a gamble on Justin Holiday with Kyle Anderson now out for an extended period. NBA DFS Podcast for Jan. 11 Jan 11, 2019

Show notes

So we got some big news before we recorded that Giannis Antetokounmpo isn't expected to play. Khris Middleton becomes Mr. Chalk, but there are a lot of others to play. Plus, a few Wizards to fire up, as well.

There are a ridiculous amount of shooting guards, so we'll try to find some other cheap targets.

Joel Embiid vs. the Hawks? Domantas Sabonis vs. the Knicks? Strong plays all over.

Good luck!

Changing Rotations: Wolves, Bulls, Rockets and More Jan 09, 2019

Matt Stroup and Mike Gallagher dive into some recent big changes affecting minutes, rotations and production. In Minnesota, no more Tom Thibodeau could mean a lot more chances for young guys from Tyus Jones to Josh Okogie to Dario Saric. Meanwhile, we ask whether anyone can step into Justin Holiday’s vacated high volume role in Chicago, and examine the fallout of injuries to Devin Booker, Gary Harris, Eric Gordon and Chris Paul.
