Which pitchers in the new wave of starters can we trust? With the greater-than-usual attrition that we've had this spring, Fred Zinkie and Jeff Erickson have had to reach into a different pool of starters to fill their rosters, and will go over those players. Plus, we discuss the latest on Shohei Ohtani, Kevin Gausman, Paul Sewald and the Cardinals outfield.
---
00:00 - Shohei Ohtani. Doesn’t really matter if we believe him. Will there be a fallout that will impact his playing status?
08:15 - Kevin Gausman looked great on Monday. Back to being a 2nd round pick?
13:00 - Dylan Carlson is hurt and the Cards are running out of OFs. Lars Nootbaar took soft toss and is making progress. Victor Scott!
18:00 - Garrett Mitchell to IL. Joey Ortiz to 3B? Drop Mitchell?
21:00 - DLJM to IL. Is he worth waiting for?
25:30 - Paul Sewald to the IL. Kevin Ginkel time?
32:30 - Bryan Woo to IL. I don’t think that Emerson Hancock is a must-add, but he’s interesting.
36:15 - Justin Verlander to throw 2 innings of BP on Tuesday.
39:00 - All the new SPs. Because all the ones who were going in Rd. 24-30 in early March are now either being drafted earlier or are injured
41:15 - Max Meyer
45:00 - Ryan Weathers
48:45 - Jordan Hicks
50:50 - Casey Mize
52:20 - Jared Jones
54:30 - Ryne Nelson
58:15 - Bowden Francis
1:01:30 - Garrett Crochet, Tylor Megill, Luis Gil, Tyler Alexander.
