Vance Johnson's Incredible Testimony - How God Rescued an NFL Great From the Depths of Addiction - The Rooted in Christ Podcast 003 Sep 05, 2022

Show notes

Today, we're talking with former NFL wide receiver, Vance Johnson.

Vance Johnson was John Elway's go to guy during the Broncos heyday, and is ranked as the 16th best Denver Bronco Player of all time. He was a second round draft pick, broke the Cleveland Browns' heart's on several occasions, and beat Carl Lewis in the 1982 NCAA Championships.

None of these accolades though are greater than his redemption arch. Vance has been to the depths of hell and back, struggling with addiction, the death of his son, and processing the trauma of an abusive childhood. Vance's testimony is an astounding example of how God never gives up on us, and we're certain that you'll be moved by his stories.

We're so thankful for Vance coming on The Rooted in Christ Podcast, and we hope you listeners enjoy.

Are You Doing THE Thing God's Called You to Do? | How to Wake Up the Dreamer that Lives Inside of You | The Rooted In Christ Podcast #001 with Julia Gentry Aug 22, 2022

Show notes

In our very first episode of The Rooted in Christ Podcast, we're having a conversation with Julia Gentry,

Julia is a mother, wife, author, speaker, and follower of Christ. Her new book, Dream – I Dare You: A Wake-Up Call to Greater Alignment in Your Faith, Family, Career, and Community, outlines the importance of waking up and stepping into the full calling that God has on our lives.

She received her inspiration for this book while on a cross country RV trip with her husband and children (all under the age of 5 at the time), and since then she hasn't looked back. She is now inspiring others to open their hearts and minds to God's power so they can become exactly who God designed them to be.

We all have so much potential within us, and when we refuse to share it with the world, we are cheating ourselves and others! We hope that this conversation between Eric Stephens and Julia Gentry inspires you to become all that you can be!
