Ep. 13 Brews Traveling with the Harvest Host Ale Blazers Oct 27, 2023

Show notes

We are Nita Hughes, Glenn Hughes, and Charlie! With this channel, we aim to share the great places we've visited and stayed in our 2019 RAM Promaster van, along with the great local foods, cocktails, and adult beverages we've enjoyed on the road while traveling around the United States (not while driving of course!).

We've been full-time "road people" off and on for more than 16 years and our current adventure began back in June of 2021. We bought our van with just one mile on it (our first ever new vehicle) back in June of 2020 and spent the year of COVID building it out. We hit the road exactly one year to the day from when we picked it up from the dealer in upstate New York. We've learned a lot along the way and hope to share what we've learned with other vanlifers and wannabe vanlifers. #cubbyvanlife #vanlife

Ep. 10 RV Life Beyond Borders with the Russos Jul 28, 2023

Show notes

Before their RV adventure began, both Joe and Kait were living the typical corporate American life. Joe worked in project development and advertising, while Kait wore many hats, including marketing. Feeling burned out and disillusioned with the rat race, they longed for a change. That's when Kait came up with the bold idea of selling everything, including their house, and hitting the road in an RV with their dogs. Initially skeptical, Joe eventually embraced the plan, and in 2015, they embarked on what they thought would be a one-year sabbatical.
