    Lisa Affenzeller is a FOH Engineer, Tour Manager, Production Manager, and Stage Manager based in Hamburg, Germany.

    Over the last ten years she has been busy building up her experience, skills, and resume with a list of artists that includes TesseracT, Butcher Babies, Kobra & The Lotus, Kiefer Sutherland Band, and many more.

    No stranger to the giant European festivals, she has logged time at Wacken Open Air, Reeperbahn, as well as various clubs in Hamburg like Mojo Club, Gruenspan, and Kukuun.

    Lisa is a graduate of SAE in Vienna with a degree in Music Production. Her passion for live music has taken her across many continents and given her the confidence to keep her cool when things go wrong.

    Even though she moved around quite a bit as she was starting out, Lisa now calls Hamburg home, and has the support of her friends and colleagues, whom she gets to see on her occasional days off.

    Erik Rogers is a FOH Audio Engineer based in Florida who has been touring steadily for the last 15 years.

    He has spent the greater part of this year on the road with Godsmack and is preparing for another North American run to finish out the year.

    Throughout his career he has worked with Hunter Hayes, Testament, Death Angel, Avenged Sevenfold, Scott Stapp, and many more.

    In 2010 while on tour with Taylor Swift he was nominated for a Parnelli Award as Systems Engineer of the Year. He has also been featured in several trade magazines such as Live Sound International, FOH Magazine, Sound Pro Live, and AVNetwork Magazine.

    When not on the road, he spends as much time with his daughter as he can balancing the life of a touring professional and a single dad.

    Kevin "Kwiz" Ryan is a musician, producer, composer, audio engineer and artist development specialist from Bronx, NY. His professional resume begins as a vocal arranger for Jeff Redd's "I Found Loving" (Uptown/MCA) with his first production release, Brazilian Lady, appearing on Redd's debut album. Since then, Kwiz's professional resume has continued to evolve and expand over 25 years with credits including numerous Grammy Award winning and platinum selling artists that rival the top producers in today's music industry. His musical goal is to make you dance, love, and cry, think, hate, make love, make babies, seek therapy, give therapy, hug your mom/dad/sister/brother/son/daughter and scream.

    Kwiz's production credits include Mary J. Blige, Busta Rhymes, T.I., Slick Rick, Earth Gyrlz, The Family Stand, Tashan, Tiffany Moníque, Bliz Kardai, Flight School Alumni and many more. In the areas of mixing/mastering, he has lent his expertise to artists such as Pit Bull (2012 Tour), Papoose's 2015 album "You Can't Stop Destiny", The Goodfellaz, Earth Gyrlz, Dark Skinned Assassin, Tiffany Moníque, Bliz Kardai and more. Kwiz has also operated as Recording Engineer for BET's "Black Girls Rock" award show and notably, Multi-Platinum Grammy-award winning superstar, Beyoncé, for her last four world tours, as well as her historic 2013 & 2015 SuperBowl Halftime Performances. In the world of television, Kwiz has been a freelance composer for ESPN since 2000 with credits including the theme for "NBA Access with Ahmad Rashad" as well as ABC's "NBA Inside Stuff", the closing theme for HBO's "The Execution Machine". He's also has done various production work for Capitol, MCA, Universal, Columbia, Avatar/A&M, Sutra, Tu Da Beat (indie), Lucy Kool (indie), Smoke/Universal record, Rhythm 252 (indie) record labels. Over the span of his musical career, Kwiz has operated as a writer, vocal arranger, remixer, Director of A&R (Gutter Keys Records), audio programmer and a technical consultant.

    Audio Programmer

    Kwiz is an audio programmer (Digital Performer) who has toured across the globe in this role for several of today's most notable, Grammy-award winning & platinum recording artists including Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Ciara, Brandy, Monica, J-Lo, Jill Scott, Ledisi, Missy Elliott, Estelle, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, Kanye West, Keri Hilson, George Michael, Action Bronson, Rachel Platten and more. He has operated as audio supervisor / programmer for several historical events & performances including Black Girls Rock, NFL Superbowl Halftime Performance (Beyoncé), The White House Correspondent's Dinner and First Lady Michelle Obama's 50th birthday celebration. Kwiz was also the audio programmer for Beyoncé & Jay-Z's groundbreaking "On The Run" summer stadium tour. Kwiz is currently touring with Beyonce on her "Formation" stadium world tour.

    Kwiz's specialties include music production, mixing, mastering, artist development and management. His company, Rhythm Lab, is a music production company and studio facility is located in Bronx, NY.

    Tiffany Hendren is a full-time FOH Engineer currently based out of St. Louis.

    Performing and being in a band is what initially drove Tiffany into live music, but she realized that the combination of that passion and her interest in computers and engineering might just hold other options for her. After a few years in the military, she moved back to St. Louis and began searching for the right job in the industry.

    The Pageant in St. Louis became Tiffany's musical university. She learned every aspect including merch, production management, and ultimately, how to be an audio engineer. Throughout multiple nights of various acts she cut her teeth and eventually got her first touring gig with the band A Silent Film.

    Multiple tours and many nights later, Tiffany has gone on to work with Alex Cameron, Betty Who, The Miracles, El Monstero: The Definitive Pink Floyd Tribute Experience, and more.

    Finally, in 2015,Tiffany joined veteran Monitor Engineer Karrie Keyes as the co-director of Soundgirls.org, who's mission is to inspire and empower young women and girls to enter the world of professional audio and music production while expanding opportunities for girls and women in these fields, and to share resources and knowledge through cooperation, collaboration, and diversity.

    Peter Levin is a keyboardist and musician known for his work with The Blind Boys of Alabama and Greg Allman. A native New Yorker, Peter has recently made Nashville his home when he is not on the road.

    Equally at home on the Hammond Organ as he is on a Fender Rhodes or various synths, his most recent studio work includes Piano, Hammond B3, Clavinet, and Wurlitzer Electric Piano performances on Aaron Neville's 2016 album release "Apache," and Piano, Wurlitzer and Clavinet credits on Gregg Allman's final album, Southern Blood, recorded at Fame Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and produced by legendary producer Don Was.

    Peter has performed with a genre-busting who's who of music: The Allman Brother's Band, Crosby, Stills, and Nash, Aaron Neville, The Doobie Brothers, Allen Toussaint and Lou Reed.

    Peter has also toured in support of such mega-artists as Tom Petty, Robert Plant, and George Clinton and the P-Funk All Stars. When not on tour with the Gregg Allman Band or the Blind Boys of Alabama,

    Peter performs nationally with his own band, the Peter Levin Band. P.L.B. plays a unique blend of blues inspired funk and soul music.

    Peter's production credits include artists such as Public Enemy, Korn, Train, The Beastie Boys, The Fun Lovin' Criminals, Gym Class Heroes, and The Blind Boys of Alabama. Peter recieved a Platinum record in 2014 for his collaboration with the band Train on the album "Save Me, San Francisco," and a Gold record in 2012 for his collaboration with Gym Class Heroes.

    Rena Nicole Kozak is a freelance audio engineer and tour manager based out of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

    Maya Finlay is an Audio Engineer, Producer, Songwriter and Musician based in San Francisco, CA with more than 11 years of experience in professional audio.

    As a live sound engineer, Maya has worked at some of the most beloved venues in San Francisco, including The Independent, Boom Boom Room, Elbo Room, the Stern Grove Festival and with Rock the Bike. She does sound full-time at SFJAZZ Center and tours regularly with Rosanne Cash as Monitor Engineer. Throughout her concert career, she has also mixed for such heavyweights as Sheila E., Esperanza Spalding, Lee "Scratch" Perry, Allen Toussaint, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Ghostface Killah, J Mascis, Snarky Puppy, Pink Martini, Ry Cooder, Emmylou Harris, and many more. In addition to live sound reinforcement, Maya has done live multi-track recordings for numerous artists including Herbie Hancock.

    Maya started her audio career in the studio, and continues to do music tracking, editing, mixing, and producing. Maya has recorded local artists Gisela Tangui, La Gente, and produced music by Sang Matiz as well as her own band, Gringa. She conducts most of her studio work at Women's Audio Mission and in her home studio, the My-Fy Hive.

    An international traveler at heart, Maya was born in Canada, raised in California, studied in Colorado, and lived in Spain and Brazil before returning to the Bay Area. She has a B.A. in Spanish and Portuguese, Language and Culture from CU Boulder, as well as Certificates in Sound Recording and Sound Design from City College of San Francisco.

    Hanford Pittman is a Brooklyn-based FOH Engineer and Production Manager currently on tour with Sweden's very own Tove Lo.

    Originally from Southern California, Hanford grew up as a musician playing with several local bands, before getting a gig as security at the world famous Troubadour. It was there that he caught the bug to be an engineer and he started working under the house staff learning the ropes. From there, he's worked at The Echo, The music center in downtown LA, and at Roughtrade in Brooklyn, NY. His extensive festival experience includes Outside lands, Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Glasdtonbury with bands such as Siilversun Pickups, Warpiant, Purity Ring, Borns, and now Tove Lo.

    This week we're touching base with two great author's with upcoming books that I can't wait to get a hold of.

    My first guest, John Kane, is no stranger to Roadie Free Radio, he joined us on episode 50 with Bill Hanley. John is the author of Pilgrims of Woodstock: Never-Before-Seen Photos (University Press of Indiana) and The Last Seat in the House: The Story of Hanley Sound (University Press of Mississippi). Dr. Kane grew up in Somerville, Massachusetts, and now resides on the seacoast of New Hampshire. He holds a DA in Leadership Studies and is faculty in the design and media department at the New Hampshire Institute of Art.

    David Dann is also a past guest on the show (Ep. 24). In October, his newest book, Guitar King: Michael Bloomfield's Life in the Blues, hits the shelves. David is a commercial artist, music historian, writer, and amateur musician who worked for many years in the news industry, including serving as copublisher of an award-winning Catskills weekly. Most recently, he was editor of Artenol, a radical art journal described by the New York Times as "a cross between The New Republic and Mad Magazine." He has produced radio and video documentaries of Michael Bloomfield and served as a consultant to Sony/Legacy on their recent Bloomfield boxed set.
