On this edition of RIP a Livecast, we were joined by iwrestledabearonce guitarist Steven Bradley. Steven called in at the top of the second hour and answered a lot of serious questions about his gear, the band name, and their silly song titles, as well as how they got in touch with Dennis Haskins to appear in their recent video.
Besides that, in the first hour we discussed the Glenn Beck rally and this clip, a caller asked us to talk about what our sexual fantasies are, we mention the Phil Anselmo story we posted about earlier, we play a recap song of last week's episode by Cancerscare, as well as talk about Sean possibly leaving the show in a year. Here is this week's playlist:
Wormrot – Fuck…I'm Drunk
Decrepit Birth – Polarity
iwrestledabearonce – Tastes Like Kevin Bacon
The Dillinger Escape Plan – The Mullet Burden
Curl Up And Die – Doctor Doom, a Man of Science, Doesn't Believe In Jesus, Why the Fuck Do You
Death – In Human Form

On this episode of RIP a Livecast the fans really showed their love by calling in to wish Rob a happy birthday. It didn't turn out to be so happy for him; since Rob decided to take a vodka shot for every caller. But at least it was for the rest of us. Frank and Jenny also join us to celebrate Rob. The only person who neglected Rob on his birthday is Sean, who was too busy in Chicago getting some broad pregnant at Magic Park (As a caller pointed out). There's a whole lotta nothin' going on after, besides Rob expressing his drunkeness in song.
Agalloch – Falling Snow
Bleeding Kansas – Retract the Altitude
Cephalic Carnage – The Incorrigible Flame
Covenant – Planetarium

This week, RIP a Livecast was pretty epic. In the first hour, we got a phone call from a fan stationed in Iraq, which was pretty awesome. Then, we discuss the possibility of Rob getting an OK Cupid account. After the music break, we do another reading from Dave Mustaine's autobiography. We are turned on to possibly the grossest album art ever (very NSFW), then we discuss terrible Megadeth remixes, and then end the show with not one but two really awful videos from a Brazilian, the bed intruder song, It's So Cold Here In The D, and other random clips. Here is this week's playlist:
At the Gates – Captor of Sin (Slayer cover)
Thou – Don't Vote
Black Army Jacket – The End Of Dreams
System Of A Down – Revenga
Javelina – Asbestos
The_Network – Easter Just Stopped Showing Up
Fleshwrought – Inner Thoughts
BTW, here is our phone caller cue card

On this edition of RIP a Livecast, we welcome a friend of ours, Rich Hall of 1000KNIVES. We started off the show discussing about a photo of Sean and Rich Hall on Brooklyn Vegan. Sid then shares a story about going to a party at his girlfriend's boss's house. Then, we get into a vicious cycle of conversations about man parts. This episode also features the return of Death or No Death which featured a surprise winner. We also read another excerpt from Dave Mustaine's autobiography about the time he was a drug dealer as a kid. Here is this week's playlist:
Animals As Leaders – CAFO
Neurosis – Fear and Sickness
Pig Destroyer – Phantom Limb
Dying Fetus – Pissing in the Mainstream
