Since we had so much fun doing a running DVD commentary of the Metallica documentary, Some Kind of Monster, we thought we would do it again with another rock doc. This time, we focus our sights on Anvil: The Story of Anvil, the award-winning 2008 documentary spotlighting first-wave thrash band Anvil.
We'd really appreciate your feedback for this episode. Did you enjoy listening along? Did you listen without watching the doc or with the doc playing at the same time as us? We are considering doing this more often, so what would you like us to do a running commentary on? Please leave a comment or email us hatemail [at] metalinjection.net
We found a potentially not un-illegal stream of the documentary so you can watch along as you listen to our commentary…

We kicked off this week's episode with some (bad) advice from Steve Harvey. Then, we talked about the connection between John Wayne and Texas. We then dissected some newly idiotic statements by Dave Mustaine and followed that up by discussing the "New York values" comment in the recent Republican debate. We discussed David Vincent's recent turn to country and Rob revealed a newly discovered fetish he enjoys.

We kicked this week's episode off with discussion about the Guns N Roses reunion. We then shared memories of Lemmy, and made some jokes at Triple H's expense. After playing Motorhead classics "Bomber" and "Overkill," we discussed Steve Harvey's new bacon, wiping toilet seat techniques and more.

We kicked off the show paying tribute to the great Lemmy Kilmister. Rob then recalled his experience at a Korean bath, sharing one anecdote that almost made Noa puke. We got a call from Spanky that inspired stories about hallucinating. We also discussed Darren's birthday celebrations and played Thrash It or Trash It with tracks from Tormenter and Footprints In The Custard.

We are joined on this episode by our great friend Axl Rosenberg of MetalSucks.net. We learn a lot of things about genitalia and maintaining it on this edition of RIP a Livecast. We learn about penis transplants, squatty patties, female underwear, bidets and things get heated when Noa and her roommate Cristina discuss a recent visit to a local wrestling show with their friend Mariann from Brooklyn. Mariann calls in and curses out Sid. There is only one way to find out why, and that's by listening.
Here's this week's playlist:
Doomriders – Lions
Cephalic Carnage – Divination & Violation
Nachtmystium – Nightfall

This week, we played Thrash It or Trash It all throughout the episode. One of the people who submitted a song was longtime listener Leroy, who may not have been pleased with our critiques. There is a conversation about dick sniffing that made our insides hurt. We also discussed Dave Mustaine's advice to Scott Weiland, David Draiman's lack of autotune, how beets affect poop and more.

This was an episode that flowed so easily, we didn't even take a music break. Let us know how you feel about that. We discussed the recent shootings, Scott Weiland passing away, just how much 10lbs of weed really is, Facebook arguments, ejaculating multiple times in one session, Metallica's failed movie, and kegels.

We kicked off the show talking about Pizzeria UNO's and then Noa and her roommate Cristina started talking about their favorite wrestlers which led to a hilarious conversation about Pat Patterson. We watched James Wright's review of Patti LaBelle's sweet potato pie, and Rob's Thanksgiving hangover. After the music break, we talk about the new Megadeth track, and play some great voicemails. Here's the playlist:
Cult Leader – Useless Animal
Psyopus – The White Light

We kicked things off discussing the fallout from the terror attacks in Paris and recent tour cancellations. We got a call from a Muslim listener Abdul to discuss the recent events and discussions about Quran interpretations. Exmortus drummer Mario Moreno called in to talk about the band's new album, Ride Forth, impersonating Dave Mustaine and their love for Judas Priest. In hour two, we discuss the cop who got fired for singing death metal. A caller asked Sid and Rob to offer three things they liked about each other and it was hard! Here's this week's playlist:
Exmortus – Relentless
Moonlapse – Blood Moon
Grave Ritual – Autonomous Death
Graf Orlock – 600,000 Tons of Explosive Ordnance
