Enemies Of The Process 2019 Jun 10, 2019
    Show notes

We’ve made a lot of enemies over the last six years, and most of them don’t even know they’re our enemies. In September of 2017, we did our first podcast ranking the Enemies Of The Process, and we decided it was time for an updated ranking. Andrew Unterberger joins us to figure out which Colangelo is worse, where David Silver ranks, whether Spike’s dad is in the top ten, and where everyone else falls in the top 20. We also talk about the Sixers hire of Ime Udoka as assistant coach.

Maybe Only Run Some Of It Back? Jun 06, 2019
    Show notes

Spike is having second thoughts about running it back completely, so we discuss the possible problems with doing that. We also discuss the Sixers interviewing Avery Johnson to be an assistant coach, the team’s change atop their medical staff, and figure out which non-playoff starter they would trade a Sixers starter for if they had the chance. We also announced that the Final Lottery Party raised over $16,000 for the Providence Animal Center and Coded By Kids. Thank you!

After. a long, painful banning, The Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor joined us to talk about his banning and unbanning, the pain Danny Chau must be going through, the Sixers trades and off-season plans, Ben Simmons shooting with the wrong hand, and we go deep into the NBA Draft to look at Sixers options with their five picks. Donate to Kevin’s fundraiser Dunk On Cancer in honor of his dad at Dunk On Cancer’s site, click on Rights To Ricky Sanchez in the leaderboard and be part of the Ricky pledge group.

One Year Colangelo Burnergate Anniversary May 30, 2019
    Show notes

It’s been one year since the Ringer published the article about Bryan Colangelo’s burner Twitter accounts that would later get him fired, only to be replaced by Elton Brand, who he once signed and is on the shirt. We look back at Burnergate one year later, talk about its lasting effects, every crazy detail we can remember, rank the burner accounts, and go over Colagelo’s Sixers resume. We also go around the league with Ish Smith and discuss the Finals, the Timberwolves front office and the Rockets fire sale. Finally, we end the podcast with a replay of our podcast from one year ago tonight.

Derek Bodner on The State Of The Sixers and Embiid's All-NBA Case May 25, 2019
    Show notes

Joel Embiid did not make the first All_NBA team, and Kevin O’Connor made a play to get rebanned. We discuss those issues, and then Derek Bodner of The Athletic joined us to talk about this Sixers season, the team’s front office structure, whether the Sixers should bring back the same team, and what their options are if they don’t.

We’ve got about 100 Lottery Party shirts left. Once they’re gone they’re gone. All $19.99 and benefit our charities.

Sixers Have Free Agency Decisions To Make, NBA Playoffs Roundup May 23, 2019
    Show notes

Free agency will determine almost all of the 2019-20 Sixers roster, and there are a lot of decisions to make. Spike and Mike dive in on potential contracts and decisions for Tobias Harris, Jimmy Butler, JJ Redick, James Ennis, as well as non-Sixers possibilities. We discuss the NBA Conference Finals, and The Lorenzo Brown Mailbag gives us questions about the worst NBA fans, 2020 free agency, Ben Simmons’ true position, Bryan Colangelo making amends, and a new banning!

The Dawn Of A New Sixers Offseason May 20, 2019
    Show notes

The 2018-19 Sixers are but a memory now, and the biggest offseason of our lives (every one of them is) has begun. We take a look at how the season ended, and how we thought each player performed along with what we want to see from them next season (if they’re definitely on the team) and what we think the prospects are for their return in 2019-20. We also recap the Lottery Party and talk to Andrew Unterberger about enjoying things outside of winning and his final thoughts on the Tobias Harris trade.

The Final Lottery Party featuring Chu Chu Maduabum May 15, 2019
    Show notes

With the last Hinkie associated NBA Lottery Pick at stake, and the Sixers in the playoffs and contenders for the Eastern Conference, it was a perfect time to end the Lottery Party. Six years of ridiculous came to a close with a live podcast featuring The Sponslorette, the rebanning of Bill Simmons, a Spike poem called "Run It Back," and an interview with Process legend Chu Chu Maduabum. Thank you for the support over the last six years. New pod this weekend.

Quadruple Doink: Sixers Season Ends In Crushing Fashion May 13, 2019
    Show notes

It all came down to a Kawhi Leonard fadeaway in the corner with Joel Embiid all over him, and it hit the front rim, then again, then the back rim a couple of times, and went in. Spike and Mike discuss the final game of the 2019-20 season, the series, and what it means going forward for the players, the coaches, and us. We’ll see you at the Lottery Party Tuesday. We came from losing, this is when we need to be together.
