This episode blends breaking celebrity headlines with reflective conversation on a defining national moment. The show dives into the new lawsuit against Will Smith filed by tour violinist Brian King Joseph alleging sexual harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination—claims Smith’s attorney firmly denies as “false, baseless, and reckless.” It also unpacks Cardi B’s now‑deleted posts defending Stefon Diggs after his former chef accused the NFL receiver of assault and felony strangulation; Diggs’ attorneys call the allegations unsubstantiated as he awaits arraignment later this month. The team shifts gears to pop‑culture love stories, noting Cher’s admission on Armchair Expert that she “manifested” both a “man and a toddler” before meeting Alexander “AE” Edwards and bonding with his young son.
Closing with a wider lens, the show marks five years since the Capitol attack—highlighting how the anniversary is fueling fresh debate and new reports on the aftermath, including mass pardons and their public‑safety implications—while urging listeners to seek peace and perspective amid the noise.
