New Wendy Williams Docuseries Takes a Tragic Turn Feb 27, 2024

Show notes

Wendy Williams’s health has taken a terrible turn. Last Thursday, the former daytime queen’s team dropped the heartbreaking news that Wendy has been diagnosed with both aphasia and frontotemporal dementia. And then, over the weekend, “Where is Wendy Williams?” - a new docuseries about Wendy - premiered on Lifetime. It was supposed to document a triumphant comeback tale, but after filming started, it quickly evolved into a totally different story. The series captures Wendy’s increasingly erratic behavior and declining health. The title of the docuseries now seems pretty ironic, because her family says they don’t know her current whereabouts, which has left us all wondering, “Where is Wendy Williams?”

Shane Gills Hosts SNL - 5 Years After They Fired Him Feb 26, 2024

Show notes

Live from New York...it's Shane Gillis? In 2019, the comedian was hired as one of the new “Saturday Night Live” cast members. But before he even appeared on the Studio 8H stage, he was fired after some of his offensive comments about Asian people resurfaced. But over the weekend, Shane got another shot to be on SNL when they brought him in as the host. So how’d he do? Well, his performance on Saturday’s episode is drawing strong reactions from both sides. Looks like - for better or worse - Lorne Michaels still knows how to get people talking.

It’s Brandi vs. Andy in New Bravo Beef Feb 23, 2024

Show notes

Brandi Glanville’s coming for Andy Cohen. The former "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast member is accusing the Bravo head honcho of sexual harassment. Brandi says that while Andy was her boss, he sent her an inappropriate video saying he wanted her to watch him have sex with another (unnamed) Bravo personality. Andy says he was joking, but Brandi - and her team of lawyers - are not laughing. This comes about a month after RHONJ cast member Caroline Manzo filed her own lawsuit against Bravo, claiming the network didn't protect her after Brandi sexually assaulted her on the set of “Ultimate Girls Trip.” Looks like this reality TV drama is getting very real.

Kim Kardashian Facing Serious 'Bag'-lash Feb 22, 2024

Show notes

Kim K is in the middle of some dirty Birkin bag drama. The billionaire Kardashian is selling one of her used Hermès Birkin bags on the fam’s “Kardashian Kloset” website for a whopping $70,000. And she’s getting absolutely roasted for it. And that flack isn’t just about the ridiculous price. This rare gray Birkin is also showing definite signs of wear and tear, with some saying it looks just plain dirty. Some critics wish Kim would donate the proceeds to a charity, but the odds are that the money’s going straight into one of the handbags she hasn’t sold yet!

Is Tom Sandoval 'The Most Hated Man in America?' Feb 21, 2024

Show notes

Tom Sandoval is telling his side of the story. In a new profile in The New York Times Magazine, the “Vanderpump Rules” cast member (the guy who put the Sandoval in “Scandoval”) opens up about the affair that rocked reality TV. And his unhinged analogy is causing a huge stir online. In the NYT piece, he compares his cheating drama to the killing of George Floyd and the O.J. Simpson trial. (YIKES!) If the goal in agreeing to do this article was to rehabilitate his image, we’re not sure it worked!

Tangled 'Web': Who's to Blame for Dakota Johnson Flop? Feb 20, 2024

Show notes

“Madame Web” had a less-than-“Marvel”-ous opening at the box office. Marvel flicks are usually guaranteed moneymakers, but that streak might’ve ended with “Web.” But why? Well, some people are blaming Madame Web herself, Dakota Johnson. They say that in her interviews to promote her new movie, she’s giving off such disinterested vibes that it looks like she doesn’t even like the movie. So is Dakota to blame for the movie crashing and burning? Or could it be all those terrible reviews?

Miley vs. Billy Ray - Are the Cyruses at War? Feb 16, 2024

Show notes

Welcome to “The Family Feud: Cyrus Edition.” A couple of weeks ago, Miley Cyrus picked up a pair of Grammys for her hit “Flowers.” In her acceptance speech, she thanked her mom Tish and a long list of other family and friends. But there was one notable exception: her dad, Billy Ray. And it looks like that snub was deliberate. People are saying that since Miley’s parents split back in 2022, the Cyrus kids have divided themselves into Team Tish and Team Billy Ray, with Miley clearly in her mom’s camp. But word is that Billy Ray has been trying to mend things with his daughter. So can we count on a Cyrus family reunion anytime soon, or will Billy Ray just have to deal with another "achy breaky heart?"
