E.G Goes in on Germaine Greer...(Must Hear) Jun 01, 2018
    Show notes

So-called feminist Germaine Greer has angered survivors of rape after she made dismissive comments about the form of sexual assault while speaking at the Hay Literary Festival this week.
Greer described the crime - which holds a maximum punishment of life imprisonment - as 'bad sex', and went on to say most cases of the assault are mere demonstrations of laziness.
'Most rape is just lazy, just careless, just insensitive,' she told her audience at the festival.
'Most rapes don’t involve any injury whatsoever,' Greer continued. 'We are told that it is a sexually violent crime, an expert like Quentin Tarantino will tell us that when you use the word rape you’re talking about violence, a throwing them down... it is one of the most violent crimes in the world. Bullshit Tarantino.'
Diminishing rape and the trauma it can cause even further, the writer said: 'Instead of thinking of rape as a spectacularly violent crime – and some rapes are – think about it as non-consensual, that is, bad sex.'

E.G Goes in on Facebook and Roseanne Part 2 May 31, 2018
    Show notes

E.G talks again about Facebook and Roseanne. Two weeks ago at ABC’s upfront presentation, Barr introduced Disney-ABC Television Group president Ben Sherwood, joking that he was “the guy responsible for most of my tweets.” Sherwood and Barr hugged onstage, and the the exec noted that ABC had not had television’s No. 1 show in 24 years. Dungey, during her portion of the presentation, bragged that “The premiere ratings even took us by surprise,” claiming that one in 10 Americans has seen the “Roseanne” revival premiere.
The statement by Barr would have demanded a strong response from any network. In the case of ABC, Dungey’s promotion in 2016 made her the first African-American woman to serve as entertainment president at a Big Four network.

Listen in This wasn’t Barr’s first racist tweet. So why now? The political climate is putting all employers on high alert when it comes to the words and behavior of their employees, Sinnreich says. “We’re understood to be private citizens, but when someone is the public face of a public corporation, that corporation should and must be held accountable for the actions of that individual,” he added.

E.G Goes In Kim Kardashian and Taco Bell.. May 31, 2018
    Show notes

E.G talks about Kim K and the taco bell stabbing.... It was the commander and cheeks!
Kim Kardashian strutted into the Oval Office on Wednesday for a sit-down with President Donald Trump to discuss criminal justice issues — including an imprisoned drug offender she discovered on Twitter.
The reality queen donned high heels and an all-black ensemble for the highly anticipated White House meeting.
Kardashian was spotted entering the West Wing around 4:45 p.m. and leaving about an hour later.
She spoke with both Trump and Jared Kushner, whom she met through Ivanka Trump, according to sources.
The mother-of-three requested the White House meeting after hearing about the plight of Alice Marie Johnson on social media late last year.
“This is so unfair,” Kardashian tweeted in October 2017, along with a link to an interview Johnson, 63, did on Mic.com.
Sources told The Post that Kardashian argued that Johnson — a Memphis great-grandmother convicted of a drug conspiracy — had paid her debt to society after 21 years behind bars and deserves clemency.
The meeting went “well,” sources said, and now the decision is in Trump’s hands.
After the meeting, Kardashian headed to Ivanka and Jared’s DC home for a private dinner.
It was to be a continuation of the White House meeting, since Kushner is a passionate advocate for criminal justice reform after living through his father’s imprisonment.
“Happy Birthday Alice Marie Johnson. Today is for you,” Kardashian tweeted before arriving in Washington.
Police: Wrigleyville Taco Bell worker stabbed by manager 21-year-old man was stabbed by his manager early Tuesday during a dispute about a woman, Chicago police said.
About 6:30 a.m., officers were called to the Taco Bell restaurant in the 1100 block of West Addison Street for a person stabbed.

    Pussified America May 30, 2018
    Show notes

Listen in On Tuesday, ABC canceled their hit show Roseanne because of racially charged tweets and it just so happened to be the same day MSNBC was airing their Everyday Racism in America town hall event. Along with talking about the news of the day, the program was dripping with hypocrisy from both the guests and hosts. And according to one guest in particular, the way you get all white people to stop being racist is to make bigoted comments about them.
First off, the hypocrisy in MSNBC’s attempt to solve racism and bigotry was pervasive. The co-hosts of the event were Chris Hayes and Joy Reid. It was the same Joy Reid whose years-old homophobic blog posts had recently stirred up controversy. She even suggested hackers planted the posts to frame her despite cybersecurity experts saying that wasn’t true. She also had an award from an LGBT group rescinded.
The event also featured the infamous Al Sharpton, who himself has a long history of making his own racist remarks targeting Jews. Sharpton has defended an anti-Jewish remark he made when he referred to a Jewish landlord as a “white interloper.” “If the Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house,” he said prior to the 1991 Brooklyn riots.
