Dark Enigma - The Myrtles Plantation... y'all Jul 17, 2019

Please be aware the stories, theories, re-enactments and language in this podcast are of an adult nature and can be disturbing, frightening and in some cases offensive. Listener Discretion is advised – there is very adult content ahead and you have been warned.
Welcome heathens welcome to the world of the weird and unexplained. I’m your host, Nicole Delacroix and together, we will be investigating stories about the weird, wonderful, unexplained, eerie, scary and down-right unbelievable. There will be tales of ghosts, murder, supernatural beings and unexplained mysteries. So, sit back, grab your favorite drink, relax and prepare to be transported to today's dark Enigma....
And on today’s Dark enigma we’re going to be continuing our foray into the summer destinations with the most haunt for your buck. And today’s episode is a very lovely listener request from Suzanne in Louisiana, and she asked for an episode on the infamous Myrtle’s Plantation in St. Francisville LA, and as I’ve said before, I always take requests seriously, and Suzanne, this one is dedicated to you. As always, we will be playing our drinking game but remember, the drinking game is only for those who are at home and have nowhere else to go tonight. So for today’s game we can have a repeat of Southern Comfort, or if you prefer there is a fantastic drink called a Plantation Fever cocktail, so choice is yours on the libation, but as for the game… every time I say Myrtles that will be a single shot and every time I say Ghost, that’s a double shot. Alright, now that we have the business end out of the way we can jump headfirst into today’s dark enigma… and the Legend of the Myrtle’s plantation
The infamous Myrtles Plantation in Louisiana is widely considered one of the most haunted places in America. Located on 650 acres of land in St. Francisville, the homestead was built in 1796 by General David Bradford. Myrtle Plantation is visited by ghost hunters and paranormal enthusiasts alike, but just what lies within the walls of this exquisite mansion house, and can it really be the home to a dozen ghosts?
The Deep South is well known for its rich history, and being at the centre of the American civil War and the Slave trade makes for some-grizzly tales of old. The Myrtles Plantation was built by General David Bradford,or ‘Whisky Dave’ of the Whiskey Rebellion, and this stunning mansion has seen its own share of horror over the years. Bradford was forced to flee from President George Washington’s army in 1794, because of his leadership role in the Whisky Rebellion. And when General Bradford arrived in Louisiana he obtained a Spanish land grant of roughly 650 acres. A wealthy judge and businessman from Washington County, Pennsylvania, Bradford showed interest in the area before the conclusion of the unsuccessful Whisky Rebellion forced him to settle there.

E.G TALKS ABOUT, MICROCHIPS ARE BEEN IN PEPOLE- ALSO EARTHQUAKES,MORE PEOPLE DIE IN THE D.R!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jul 16, 2019
    Show notes

A Georgia man has died of a 'respiratory illness' while on holiday in the Dominican Republic - becoming the 13th American to die there in under a year.
Jerome Jester Jr. of Forsyth, Georgia, died on March 17 this year just a day after going sightseeing in the Caribbean nation, according to his family.
The 31-year-old had been on vacation with his sister, who called for an ambulance after he started having difficulty breathing.
Jester's sister told ABC News: 'He just dropped to his knees and started throwing up blood, and was calling for Mama.'
The closest towns nearest to the earthquake, Ridgecrest and Trona, both about 30 miles southeast of the epicenter, were calculated by the U.S. Geological Survey to have felt shaking on the Modified Mercalli Intensity Scale of between 1 and 2 — either so faint it wasn’t felt, or “weak” shaking that it might have only been felt by a few people, even those sitting still.

    PLATITUDES WON’T SAVE 9/11 LIVES! Jul 15, 2019
    Show notes

Congress needs to put their money where their mouth is, and remonetize the September 11th
Victim Compensation Fund to #NeverForget the heroes who are still dying. More people have
now died since 9/11, due to illnesses from exposure to toxins at Ground Zero, than were
actually lost on that day. First responders and others who selflessly and courageously devoted
themselves to psychologically and physically debilitating feats of rescue, recovery and
remediation, are still suffering, while the Victim Compensation Fund is drying up.
Hear about the interesting history of this fund, which began as an Act of Congress to compensate
victims or families in exchange for them not to sue the airlines whose planes were overtaken by
terrorists. And hear about the controversies that have plagued the fund, as they’ve struggled to
figure out how much each life is worth. Jon Stewart and retired NYPD officer, Lou Alvarez,
recently gave impassioned pleas, begging Congress to replenish the fund to cover the remaining
victims. Sadly, Mr. Alvarez died of his 9/11-related cancer only days later. The House then voted
to extend the fund until 2090, as the Never Forget the Heroes Act, and it is now up to the
    Senate.
Ironically, while this was happening, a Syrian refugee’s terrorist plot to bomb a Pittsburgh church,
was foiled. Mustafa Mousab Alowemer planned a second bomb to go off when first responders
came, and to leave an ISIS flag with a sign, “We’ve arrived."
