    Remnant Church

For better or for worse, what you believe shapes your life. The more your beliefs line up with reality—the way things really are—the more you find fulfillment, purpose, and joy in the world. Our church believes the only truth that brings lasting fulfillment, clear purpose, and true joy is this: God made all people to glorify him and enjoy him forever. God made us for himself, and our hearts are restless until they rest in him.

God Works for Our Good Jun 12, 2016

It's been called "the greatest letter ever written," "the chief part of the New Testament," and "the Cathedral of the Christian faith." Yet whatever we might say about the book of Romans pales in comparison to what it says to us. Its message bursts onto the scene like a gift that we desperately needed but didn't realize that we wanted. It diagnoses what's gone wrong in our lives, it shows us that all things will be made right, and it explains how Jesus is the only hope for any of us. In other words, the book of Romans gives us the gospel, and the gospel is good news for everyone.

No child is born with an owner's manual in hand, but that doesn't mean raising children is a choose-your-own-adventure story. After all, God created the family, so apart from him we've got no hope of helping children become what God created them to be. The good news is we haven't been left to figure out parenting on our own. God's Word speaks powerfully about what it means to be a parent, and his grace promises to help us every step of the way.
