DISCLAIMER: Please understand that even though the podcast is about Bullying we (Stephen Lewis, Isaiah Milliard, and Austin Bixler) are not acting as if we are perfect. In fact all three of us admit to having been bullied as well as switched rolls and are also guilty of bullying others. We regret our actions and in no way are trying to perceive that we are better than anyone else. The bottom line is, this is an important subject that needs to be addressed and I plan on doing more shows in the future.

Bullying is defined as to treat (someone) in a cruel, insulting, threatening, or aggressive fashion. And can come in different forms. Verbal, Physical, Using the Internet through Social Media (Cyber). The results can be devastating, causing some Children and Adults to become insecure, depressed, stressed, feeling rejected, having anxiety and even causing death by suicide. Many are already addressing this important issue all around the world, but we need to be more active in our own communities. My prayer is that this podcast series will challenge, teach and raise awareness in every listener. It's time to be alert at school, in the work place, at home and even in our neighborhoods. If you see someone alone, go and be friendly, strike up positive conversation and help make a difference. Lastly remember if you see someone being bullied and do nothing then you are just as guilty and part of the problem. It's time to step up folks we need to look out for one another. Life happens, accidents happen and yes its ok to be upset but don't live in that moment, focus on the recovery and most importantly focus on the Lord. The enemy did not knock him off the ladder, he was careless in the placement and the result was him falling. But the most amazing part is, his eyes have been opened to a new way of looking at life. In this podcast today I will be discussing some great verses out of Matthew 25. Verses that helped instruct us on what we should be doing as followers of Jesus Christ. After traveling around the country visiting family and helping my Son and His Wife move, my eyes were open once again to those who are less fortunate. Seeing the homeless seeing both men and women standing on the corners with signs begging for help because some of them had no hope. All the thoughts that ran through my mind, the thoughts of what if the body of Christ pooled our money together and went out and made a difference not just giving money but helping find places to live for many of these individuals. The thought comes to mind of what would Jesus be doing if he was walking the earth right now. The loss of life to drug addiction, murder, homelessness, men women and children going hungry, the list goes on and on. My prayer is that this podcast sparks something in you as it once again has in me to get out here and take action. I look forward to hearing your feedback enjoy the show God bless you all love you.

Once again I have the pleasure of sitting down with my Son Steven and having an open discussion. This time we will be talking about new Journeys and how to respond to people who maybe stepping out into theirs. Many of us have stepped into new seasons in our lives at one point or another. Some can be exciting and some a little scary. The nice part is when we keep God first in all things; the journey will go a lot smoother. My wife and I have also stepped into a new season and are very excited to see how God's plan unfolds in our lives, and my son and his wife have just completed 6 years in the Airforce and are also stepping into their new Journey. My prayer is that you will be encouraged, inspired and maybe even open to some ways to treat others that you may come in contact with who are also stepping into a new season. Also keep in mind be careful who you share your ideas, and plans with because everyone will not be supportive, sadly it may be due to jealousy, lack of knowledge and even the fact that sometime people just don't like to see change. Share your plans and ideas with people who resemble Jesus Christ because at the end of the day they will receive you in love and resemble the traits in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7:

4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. 6 It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

In this episode, it's my honor to sit down with my Son Steven. In this heart to heart podcast, we discuss how he felt growing up and dealing with being overweight. This subject normally gets swept under the rug because it affects many of us including me. As his Father, I had no idea what he was going through during that stage in his life and I wish I did because things would have been different. As parents, our goal is to always make sure our children are fed properly and in many instances, we find out years later that we may have overdone it. As Christians some of us tend to look past weight issues and try to point out other problems in people's lives like smoking, drinking, lust, and foul language, but we must remember that 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 states: 19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
