Ep 944 | 'Non-Affirming' Parents vs. the State of Montana | Guest: Todd & Krista Kolstad Feb 01, 2024

Show notes

Today we're joined by Todd and Krista Kolstad, Montana parents who find themselves entangled in an ongoing months-long custody battle for their 14-year-old daughter. The couple candidly open up about the challenges they faced and the heartbreak they endured after losing custody of their daughter. Montana's Child and Family Services gained custody of their daughter when they refused to affirm her newfound "gender identity" as a boy. We delve into the origin of the dispute, starting as a seemingly minor disagreement and escalating into a legal battle that no parent could anticipate. The Kolstads courageously navigate through the difficult terrain of their daughter's claims of wanting to harm herself, shedding light on the emotional toll this took on their family. Then, we give our take on the corruption within government organizations created to "protect" children and how we can fight back against cases where their actions are not for the good of children.

Ep 943 | Alistair Begg Doubles Down on Gay Wedding Advice Jan 31, 2024

Show notes

Today we're discussing the controversy surrounding Pastor Alistair Begg and his recent statements on gay weddings. In a recent podcast, Pastor Begg responded to a question about attending a "transgender" person's wedding, saying that he does recommend going. Naturally, many were upset by this advice, but Pastor Begg doubled down in a sermon, comparing this situation to the story of the prodigal son. We explain why this parallel misses the mark and answer the questions: What is the actual Christian approach to the issue of gay weddings, and how should we respond to teachers who get it wrong?

Ep 942 | Is Taylor Swift a Psyop? Jan 30, 2024

Show notes

In today's episode, we delve into the conspiracy theory suggesting that Taylor Swift is more than just a global pop sensation — some believe she's a full-blown psyop. We navigate through the ongoing battle between the Swifties and the anti-Swifties currently making headlines. Is Taylor Swift simply a vessel for powerful messages, a conduit for ideas that transcend the music industry? We question the notion of Swift's potential involvement with the government, scrutinize the evidence, and leave you to form your own opinion. We also examine the history of Swift’s political stances and discuss how she may come across as somewhat immature when expressing her political opinions. Does Taylor’s endorsement of Joe Biden in 2020 indicate that she will resume speaking up about politics this year? Does Taylor Swift offer any valuable commentary on current events that's worth listening to? Join us as we explore the multifaceted world of Taylor Swift's influence.

Ep 941 | Conceived in Rape, Chosen by God | Guest: Steventhen Holland Jan 29, 2024

Show notes

Today we're joined by pro-life advocate and worship leader Steventhen Holland to hear his story of finding his birth mother, a mentally challenged woman who was raped as a girl and chose life for him despite all the odds. Steventhen shares his testimony of finding Christ and becoming a worship leader and how the tragedy of miscarriage led to the realization that God wanted him to find his birth mother. We discuss their initial meeting and how he responded to learning what had happened to her and how she still chose life for him. We also respond to those who argue for abortion exceptions and how this is a slap in the face to people like Steventhen and his mother, who courageously said no to the pressures to abort him. This is a story you don't want to miss!

Ep 940 | WEF vs. the West: The Latest in Davos’ Global Takeover | Guest: Justin Haskins Jan 25, 2024

Show notes

Today we're joined by our friend Justin Haskins, author and director of the Socialism Research Center at the Heartland Institute, to discuss what the world's elites got up to at Davos 2024 and just how concerned we need to be about it. First we look at the World Economic Forum's definition of "misinformation," which was the theme of the meeting. We look at why the WEF invited a select few from the Right, such as Argentinian President Javier Milei and Kevin Roberts of the Heritage Foundation, when they knew these people would directly challenge the Davos initiative. The answer is rather nefarious. We explain what the World Economic Forum's strategy is to combat so-called "misinformation" and why we should be paying attention to state-level government. We touch on what Texas Governor Greg Abbott is doing at the Texas border and what the future might hold when it comes to states' rights. We also discuss the dangers of the World Economic Forum's view of artificial intelligence and why we must agree on the foundation upon which we are going to build our country back up.

Ep 939 | Russell Brand’s Jesus Journey & the State of the Race | Guest: Ron Simmons Jan 24, 2024

Show notes

Today we're giving a quick recap on the New Hampshire primary, where Donald Trump won and Nikki Haley claimed she has no intention of dropping out. Allie's dad, Ron Simmons, joins the show to break down our many questions on the upcoming election: What support does Nikki Haley actually have on the Right, and is Haley betting on Trump being incarcerated and unable to be the Republican candidate? Then, Russell Brand revealed that he's been reading the Bible and exploring Christianity. We explain why people like him are so needed in the commentary world and how exciting it is that he's exploring truth. We give a bit of advice on reading materials and encouragement for those in his position. We also take a look at a new mega-shark study that only further proves we don't actually know what dinosaurs (or things like "megalodon") looked like.

Ep 938 | Border Standoff: Texas vs. Biden | Guest: Jason Buttrill Jan 23, 2024

Show notes

Today we're talking about the Supreme Court's decision to side with the Biden administration in a case involving a razor-wire fence along Texas’ border, in effect allowing Border Patrol agents to cut the wire intended to hold back migrants from entering. This move felt like a betrayal to conservatives after Justice Amy Coney Barrett sided against enforcing the border. We discuss what's going to happen now and why Christians are so confused about the immigration issue. Then, head writer and chief researcher for Glenn Beck Jason Buttrill joins to discuss the latest Blaze Originals documentary, "The Real Story of Colony Ridge." We explain what's really going on in Colony Ridge, Texas’ fastest-growing housing development that seems to be targeting and exploiting illegal immigrants. We look at the shocking numbers of migrants entering our country and how we should respond to what's going on at the border in light of what our government is doing there.

Today we're talking about Governor Ron DeSantis dropping out of the presidential race and what the future holds for the conservative party now that the race is between Donald Trump and Nikki Haley. We give our analysis of the DeSantis campaign and his many successes and why it's such a tragedy that he didn't get a better shot. We discuss the suburban female vote and what an important demographic this is and why many will be tempted to vote for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. rather than Trump. Then, Moms for Liberty co-founder Tiffany Justice appeared on Joy Reid's show last week and demolished her on "book bans" and inappropriate books in schools. Today we're joined by Daniel and Kelly Crawford of Abel Speaks, an organization that supports families who have chosen to carry a child with a life-limiting diagnosis. They share their own story of finding out their baby son Abel had trisomy 18 and how doctors were quick to suggest abortion, deeming their son incompatible with life. We discuss how they processed the news and how important community grounded in compassion and truth was for them during this time. Kelly explains the birth experience and how much time they were given with baby Abel beyond what they were told to expect. Ep 935 | Ballerina Farm, 'Breast Is Best' & Biblical Womanhood Jan 17, 2024

Show notes

Today we're talking about the newest controversy surrounding Ballerina Farm, or Hannah Neeleman, an influencer who sparked debate after posting about preparing for the Mrs. World pageant 12 days post-partum. We discuss whether this type of content is harmful to women and how we should see ourselves in comparison to what we see on social media. Then, what is the "Fed Is Best" movement, and what propaganda are we seeing among those who argue formula is just as good for babies as breast milk? We examine this and reveal the truth about breast milk. We also take a look at a Babylon Bee joke that has even fellow conservatives up in arms and why we all need to learn to take a joke again.
