He has written an excellent book titled, The Unassumed Is the Unhealed: The Humanity of Christ in the Christology of T. F. Torrance (Pickwick, 2013). Narrative Analogies among Israel’s and Judah’s Kings Sep 11, 2015
    Show notes

Matthew Patton offers us several interpretive guidelines for understanding narrative analogies among Israel’s and Judah’s kings. These insights provide for a richer and deeper understanding of typology. Dr. Patton previously joined us to speak about Restoration Prophecy in Ezra-Nehemiah and Typology and Jehoiachin. In the latter episode we focused upon on his dissertation, and today we resume that focus by comparing Israel’s and Judah’s kings to David and ultimately to Jesus Christ.

In this episode we discuss Noah’s ark and the flood judgment which God brought on the world. Theology Simply Profound is where simple Christians will discuss the profound things of God.

On episode 7, your hosts Rob McKenzie and Bob Tarullo, discuss the topic of worship once again. Why do we worship when we worship?
