Crossplay | Ruined by Cheating Aug 12, 2021

Show notes

Cheating in games is ruining crossplay for more and more titles, especially frustrating for console gamers. Bungie and Ubisoft are even suing ring1 cheat provider together. Lastly, Dead Space remake is being worked on by former Assassins' Creed Valhalla director. Xbox cheats and Ps4 cheats have been on the rise recently, and worse than that, PC cheats are now a problem for console gamers due to crossplay. Even Splitgate's crossplay beta was so popular that they had to delay their console launch and shut off their servers for multiple days. Destiny 2 cheats continue to frustrate the game, to the point that a Bungie lawsuit has appeared along with Ubisoft against ring 1. The Ring 1 cheats Destiny 2 have been a problem for a while, as well as other Ubisoft games. Dead Space remake gameplay continues to elude us, but the Dead space news that the former director of Assassin's Creed Valhalla came as a surprise. The Dead Space remake release date is still unknown but this means they are bringing in big talent and names. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/reforgegaming/message

Halo Infinite | Technical Test - Review Aug 12, 2021

Show notes

Halo Infinite Technical Test Review will be the lead topic for today's stream. It was also sad to see Horizon Forbidden West delayed after many hoped it would launch on time. And Apex Legends cheaters have seen a rise on PS4 for some reason. The Halo Infinite Technical Preview got off to a rough start but I was able to play quite a bit. I dove into the Halo Infinite technical preview gameplay. We got a good look into the Halo Infinite multiplayer technical preview with respect to gameplay, speed, and combat. This was a great boost to Halo Infinite news. I was thrilled to finally play Halo Infinite gameplay multiplayer. The Horizon Forbidden West release date is now up in the air and unknown. After the Horizon Forbidden West trailer got so much traction, both Sony and Guerrilla seemed confident in the winter launch date. Apex Legends cheats continue to be a problem, and a recent Apex Legends ban wave 2021 snagged mostly PS4 users. Apex Legends cheaters getting banned is good news, but why so many console users? Apex Legends Season 10 just started and this is both good and bad Apex Legends news. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/reforgegaming/message

Battlefield 6 | Leaked Details Jul 29, 2021

Show notes

Battlefield 6 Leaked Season Info is showing monthly maps and more. Some are sad to see Splitgate delayed after a planned July 27th launch. And Death's Door gameplay garnered massive success for a small indie title. Battlefield 2042 news continues to come out with the recent Battlefield Portal reveal and now Battlefield 2042 leaks about the seasonal content. Apparently the Battlefield 6 Season Pass is going to feature monthly maps and host of other in game add ons. Splitgate has been delayed due to massive server overload during their Splitgate crossplay beta. Thankfully Splitgate received a 10 million dollar investment and will launch later this year. Splitgate gameplay has been compared to other arena shooters which makes Halo Infinite a potential problem. The Death's Door game has received tremendous praise and very high player count for an indie title. My own Death's Door gameplay is up on the SNTR Gaming channel. My Death's Door review was very strong after just 30 minutes. If I have time I would love to circle back and do a full Deaths Door walkthrough. "Ubisoft’s pirate MMO Skull and Bones seems no closer to completion. Destiny 2 | Halo Crossover Rumor Jul 19, 2021

Show notes

Halo Infinite release date has been announced. Breaking news that we will cover on Monday's live show. SNTR Presents: A Bungie Destiny Halo crossover is rumored to be planned for later this year. The Valve Steam Deck was announced with a late year release date. And Netflix gaming is closer to becoming a reality. Rumored Halo - Destiny 2 Crossover While Destiny fans wait for the Destiny 2 Witch Queen expansion delay they might get a Halo Destiny 2 crossover later this year. In the wake of the Halo Infinite release date, Bungie may need to consider a way to get Destiny 2 Crucible fans back. Valve Steam Deck Just yesterday Valve announced their own Switch-like portable PC gaming device that they are calling their Steam Deck. With a late year release date it may be able to capitalize on the video game holiday release schedule. Netflix Gaming "Netflix Inc., marking its first big move beyond TV shows and films, is planning an expansion into video games and has hired a former Electronic Arts Inc. and Facebook Inc. executive to lead the effort." -Bloomberg SNTR Presents is a daily live stream where we discuss gaming news. It is a Monday through Friday live gaming podcast with interaction and Q&A. This is basically a safe for work gaming news channel. Destiny 2 and Halo certainly have a long history given how long Bungie worked on both games. The rumors of a Destiny Halo crossover have gotten more traction and personally I believe there is some merit to them given how much Halo Infinite multiplayer will potentially pull from Destiny 2 Crucible playerbase numbers. Destiny 2 Season of the Splicer received mixed reviews and continued complaints from the Destiny 2 PVP community. The Valve Steam deck, not to be confused with a Stream deck, is a smart play by Valve given the rise in mobile gaming and the success of the Nintendo Switch. The Valve steam deck release date being so late in the year will give them an opportunity to garner a lot of sales and combine it with a huge Steam game sale push as well. If there is a platform able to learn into gaming and streaming it is certainly Netflix. The first news about Netflix gaming was covered here and on @SNTR Shorts just a few week ago. The idea that Netflix video games could exist is become less fantasy and more reality with big moves from the company. With all of the gaming news today, Netflix sees the massive potential in the market. #Destiny2 #Halo #Gaming --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/sntrpresents/support --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/reforgegaming/message
