The concept of church membership, though not explicitly mentioned in Scripture, is a Biblical concept. Hebrews 13:17 says, "Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you."

Pastors Jon Benzinger, Dale Thackrah, and Costi Hinn provide Biblical insight on the topic of church membership.

Ep 4 | What does it mean to pray "in Jesus' name?" (John 14:14) | Redeeming Truth Jan 07, 2020

Show notes

What did Jesus mean when He said, "Ask for anything in My name and I'll do it?" (John 14:14).

Some Christians believe that this phrase is a magic solution that makes God give us whatever we want. But is that what it means to pray "in" someone's name? If it does, why doesn't everybody get a miracle and a brand new house when they use this phrase in prayer? Did Jesus mean that we should pray for physical healings and material goods? Is it sinful to pray for those things?

In this short episode of #RedeemingTruth, we'll clear the confusion surrounding what it means to pray "in Jesus' name."

A lot of people have questions about what Jesus atoned for by His death and resurrection. In Isaiah 53 it says 'by His stripes we are healed'. Is this a physical healing, or healing from the disease of sin?

Pastors Jon Benzinger and Costi Hinn provide a Biblical explanation of the atonement.

Ep 2 | What Did Jesus Mean By "Greater Works" in John 14:12? | Redeeming Truth Jan 07, 2020

Show notes

Some Christians are confused about what Jesus meant in John 14:12 when he said that those who believe in him would do "greater works." Does that mean we are going to raise the dead? Is it possible to raise a more "dead" person than Jesus? Can someone do greater miracles than Christ himself? Some argue that he was speaking in terms of healing ministries and that all Christians would perform miracles.

Costi Hinn explains and offers tips for biblical interpretation, along with a resource you may find helpful.
