EP 107 | Leaving Islam for Jesus w/ Al Fadi | Redeeming Truth

Al Fadi: From Muslim Jihadist to Christian

What does Islam think about Christianity? How did a Muslim jihadist turn to Jesus Christ? In this episode of the Redeeming Truth Podcast, we talk to Al Fadi about his journey from Islam to Christianity.

Al Fadi was born and raised in Saudi Arabia. He was a devout Muslim and even considered joining a jihadist group. However, after a series of events, Al Fadi began to question his faith. He eventually came to know the love of Christ and that he could not reject God's Son.

Al Fadi's story is a powerful testimony of God's grace and love. It is also a reminder that no one is beyond the reach of God's saving power.

EP 105 | The Truth of the Resurrection | Redeeming Truth

Pastors Jon Benzinger, Dale Thackrah, Todd Burgett, and Kyle Swanson discuss the truth of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

"And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain. We are even found to be misrepresenting God, because we testified about God that he raised Christ, whom he did not raise if it is true that the dead are not raised. For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied.

But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive." - 1 Corinthians 15:14-22

EP 103 | Salvation: A Gift of God's Grace (Our Doctrinal Statement) | Redeeming Truth

Pastors Jon Benzinger (Lead Pastor) and Kyle Swanson (Executive Pastor) discuss our doctrinal statement.

Salvation. We teach that salvation is completely a gift of God's grace given to all whom He chose to save before the creation of the world. Salvation includes all that God does in saving humans from the penalty, power, and presence of sin and in restoring them to a right relationship with Him. Salvation can never be gained by human good works but is a free gift given only to those who by regenerating grace repent of their sins and put their trust in Jesus Christ alone as Savior and Lord, His finished work on the Cross and His Resurrection. All who do so are united to Jesus forever, and therefore, are forgiven and saved from their sins, declared right with and reconciled to God, freed from slavery to sin, and adopted into God's family so as to do His will and bring Him glory both now and forever. [Mark 1:15; John 3:16, 3:36, 6:44, 17:3, 20:31; Acts 3:19, 5:31, 10:43, 11:18-21, 13:48, 20:21, 26:20; Rom 1:16-17, 3:20-5:21, 9:15-16, 10:9-17; 1 Cor 1:27-30; 2 Cor 5:19-21, 7:10; Gal 2:16-21, 3:10- 14, 4:4-5; Eph 1:3-14, 2:4-18; Phil 1:6, 3:8-9; Col 1:21-22; 1 Thes 2:13; 2 Thes 2:13; 1 Tim 2:4; 2 Tim 1:8-10; Titus 1:1, 2:11-14, 3:3-7; Jas 1:18; 1 Pet 1:2-5; 1 John 1:9, 4:9-10, 5:11- 13].

EP 102 | The Need for the Church to Battle Public Evil w/ Eric Metaxas | Redeeming Truth

Eric Metaxas and Pastor Jon Benzinger discuss Eric's new book, Letter to the American Church. This interview includes conversations about the idols of evangelism and niceness, the infiltration of the church, fear-mongering, and love for the country.

In an earnest and searing wake-up call, the author of the bestseller Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy warns of the haunting similarities between today's American church and the German church of the 1930s. Echoing Bonhoeffer's prophetic call, Eric Metaxas exhorts his fellow Christians to repent of their silence in the face of evil before it is too late.
