Her name is Naomi Osaka - a powerful professional tennis player who has taken the sport by storm and has become an advocate for mental health. Naomi has been ranked No. 1 by the Women's Tennis Association and is the first Asian player to hold the top ranking in singles.


    About the Narrator

    Megalyn Echikunwoke is an actor, writer singer and dancer. Discovered at a high school theater camp by a Hollywood manager, she got her start in the industry at 14. She has a striking presence with an undeniable talent through her range of portrayals of characters in television, film and the theater. Though she was raised by a widowed, single mother who worked as a registered nurse on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona, she is of Igbo-Nigerian, German, Irish and Scandinavian descent. She is also the granddaughter of a Igbo tribal leader which technically makes her African royalty. Inspired by her many cultural influences, Megalyn believes in the power of art and storytelling to expose injustice, shift culture and heal communities.

Her name was Kit DesLauriers, a determined young woman with a fierce curiosity to explore the tallest mountaintops — and then ski freely down the slopes. Kit was the first person to ski all Seven Summits, the first woman to ski Mount Everest, and is a two-time women’s world freeskiing champion.


    About the Narrator

    Combining a passion for exploration, mountain adventures and skiing, Hilaree Nelson travelled to some of the most exotic mountain ranges on earth. Her expedition career led her to many firsts in the world of ski mountaineering including linking two 8000m peaks (Everest and Lhotse) in one push, first ski descents on Baffin Island, a first American ascent and ski descent of Papsura peak in India, and a first ski descent of the 4th highest peak in the world, Lhotse. She was the Captain of the North Face Athlete Team, an active leader on climate with Protect Our Winters, and an avid proponent of wild places such as the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Hilaree was also the mother of two wild boys and found her sanity in the San Juan Mountains near her home in Telluride, Colorado.

    Marley Dias is the 15-year-old founder of #1000BlackGirlBooks and author of Marley Dias Gets It Done: And So Can You!. #1000BlackGirlBooks is an international movement to collect and donate children’s books that feature Black girls as the lead character. Marley launched the #1000BlackGirlBooks drive in November of 2015 with the help of GrassROOTS Community Foundation, leveraging the power of social media to reach a larger audience. Marley has collected over 12,000 books to-date. She was recognized by TIME, as one of the 25 most influential teens in 2018 and was identified as the youngest member of the Forbes 30 under 30 list to date. Marley resides in West Orange, NJ with her mother and father.
