Stay ConnectedReally Tho?!? is a podcast where we are searching for what’s really real… We do this through honest conversations about religion, culture, philosophy and our place in this universe.
The show is hosted by Jason P. Soto aka CookBook, and Nesto Rhea.
Through stories, interviews and personal viewpoints, we will strive to share our thoughts and perspectives on what it means to be human. We don’t have the answers, we simply are searching. Searching for what’s really real.
Join us in the conversation!

Today we are joined by Cook's friend & collaborator, Hayden THC.
Hayden has a touching story that needs to be heard. He grew up in the church, & went through a ton of situations that kept him depressed & full of shame. He had quite a journey, struggling with his identity, finding peace with just being himself. This is a great interview that we think you'll enjoy...Really Tho!

This week...we finally talk about aliens! But, not before Nesto gives us his official report on his day at the National Human Trafficking Awareness Day Protest. Then, we finally break down the Ancient Alien theory, & talk about what we think of it, & how it relates to all the latest government admissions about the existence of UFOs! We toggle back n forth between fun talks about E.T.s & tough talks about child trafficking. Another great one for y'all!

We finally are dropping the infamous "Aaron episode"!!! You've heard us talking about it...well...HERE IT IS! We get into the question of "Is it ok to believe in something, even if it turns out to not be true?' and "What's the harm in believing in something, if it's just your personal belief?"
These lead us into some great conversations, but before that, we got a voicemail from a listener, and we also discuss the passing of Mr. Solo of the seminal 90's Christian rap group, Gospel Gangstaz. As always, we appreciate y'all for listening! If you like what we do, please share the pod! Post on your socials, & text a friend or 2 the link to the show! Also, EMAIL US! We love feedback! This week, Jason tells a scandalous tale of church corruption & deceit. Nesto is shocked and reacts in kind...we think you will too once you hear this true story of church politics & cover-ups... Jason got one detail wrong in the episode. The man he refers to as "Steve" is actually named "Johnny". Other than that...google us if you don't believe.
This is a very interesting and sad story that encompasses pretty much everything this podcast is about. Thanks for being on this journey with us while we are searching for what's really real.
Please email us any feedback, questions, comments, rebuttals, etc... we welcome it all!

This is a tough episode. Please be warned that we cover real life situations on this one that are not pleasant to hear. Trigger warning, and parental discretion advised. On the quest to search for what's really real, sometimes you face things that you hope are not real at all. But if they are even a fraction real, they not only need to be addressed, but action needs to be taken too. We are not conspiracy theorists, but these are topics that run through the conspiracy circles. We try our best to present only what we know to be facts, with little to no speculation. If we present things that aren't backed with evidence, we are quick to say. Please listen, & if this topic is not for you, see you on episode 14. We love everyone, and our only desire is to help people. That's the point of this podcast. We will keep searching for what's really real, & we hope this isn't.
Please email us any feedback you have to this or any episode.
