Dyan Cannon Oct 18, 2022

Show notes

Hollywood icon Dyan Cannon and I get to know each other and -- it's a gas. (Not sure why I'm using this expression because I never do, but something about it feels right.)

From her home in California, we get on a call. And mosey around the topics of love, approval, Cary Grant (Dyan's ex-husband), Ally McBeal, her Oscar nomination, directing, kids, Malibu Colony, growing as women, Hollywood, fame, family, housekeepers and happiness.

Enjoy!

Did you decipher the last thing Dyan says? Enlighten me!

I think I succeeded! This is NOT the same interview you'll hear on other podcasts. You'll hear the backstory and inside scoop in today's intro. Then you get to know the man behind the icon.

Emmys Week: Steve Zahn Sep 06, 2022

Show notes

It's Emmy Week on Really Famous! Every day you'll get a talk with one of this year's Emmy nominees. (The Emmys air Monday.) In honor of Steve Zahn's nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series for HBO's The White Lotus (my favorite!), here's my 2nd talk with Steve, which we taped last year, just days before he flew back to Hawaii to reshoot a pivotal scene for The White Lotus.

What do you think of when you think of actor Steve Zahn? That Thing You Do ... Sahara ... Dallas Buyers Club ... Friends ... Saving Silverman?

After this 100% real talk, you'll think of something else entirely.

It's not an interview at all. It's two people catching up (a couple of years after we taped our first podcast together, which you can also listen to).

We talk:
