Adventures With Dad Dec 20, 2023
    Show notes

Aaron Airmet is on the #ReadingWithYourKids #Podcast to celebrate his newly created card game called Dad Ventures. This game is the perfect tool to help busy fathers find easy ways to spend quality time with their kids. The game consists of "Dad Cards" with activity ideas like going on a bike ride, and "Kid Cards" that add a fun twist.

Airmet came up with the idea after feeling guilty about not spending enough time with his own kids due to work obligations. The cards are meant to provide spontaneous activities that require no planning so dads can quickly engage with their children.

Airmet shared stories of playing Dad Ventures with his family, which sparked imaginative adventures like pretending to be superheroes. Other dads who tested the game also bonded more closely with their kids through silly outings.

Now Airmet is running a Kickstarter campaign to mass produce Dad Ventures. The goal is to encourage millions of fathers worldwide to strengthen their relationships by enjoying simple activities together drawn from the cards. Research shows spending time with children is very rewarding for dads but also exhausting, so the convenient card format aims to make bonding achievable for busy families.
