Social media is being flooded with videos of parents spanking, beating, or otherwise shaming their children online. What's surprising is the comments by Caribbean adults who say that they grew up with corporal punishment and they turned out fine. Well, we challenge that mindset in this episode. DysChick and SocaSaySo invite the doyenne of Caribbean parenting, SocaMom, to RANT about why the old methods of discipline need to change in these modern times. Then we RAVE to "Caught Up," a new tune by teenage soca artiste Aaron Duncan, which implores young people to remember their musical history and pays homage to the forefathers of calypso.
