Astral Travel Journey For Beginners Sep 23, 2026

What if the reason “nothing happened” in meditation is that you’re listening for the wrong kind of signal? We start with a bold little experiment: a hidden object in a box and a remote viewing prompt designed to reveal how your intuition actually speaks. Instead of forcing a crystal-clear mental movie, we practice noticing first impressions like color, texture, shape, emotion, sound, and that quiet hit of inner knowing, then we talk about how to record what you receive without editing it into a story.
From there, we get practical about astral travel basics and spiritual safety. I walk you through grounding, centering, creating a protective shield, and working with a spirit animal ally (Panther, Scorpion, Dolphin, or Owl). We also slow down to talk about intention and ethics in the astral realm, especially for empaths and healers. Sending love is not the same as trying to fix someone’s life, and I share a cacao or dark chocolate reflection you can use to balance heart and mind and build healthier boundaries.
Then we map three approaches so you can choose your comfort level: remote viewing (lowest risk), astral projection (a “hologram” journey while you stay in your body), and full astral travel with a golden-white tether connected through the heart. Astral Origins: Dreams, Spirits & the Veil Between Realities Sep 16, 2026

What is the Astral Realm?

A dream that keeps its timeline. A sudden knowing you can’t justify. A room that feels occupied even when it’s empty. I’m digging into the astral realm through a simple metaphor that’s guided me for years: veils, overlapping layers of reality that we tune into through shifts in consciousness. When we’re stressed and reactive, perception gets dense. When we soften, create, meditate, or drop into presence, the veil can lift just enough to reveal what we couldn’t register before.
From there, I get practical about astral senses. Not everyone “sees” spirits or symbols, and that doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong. You might hear, feel, or simply know. We talk about common doorways like dreaming, lucid dreaming, trance, shamanic journeying, intuition, and even imagination as an interface. I also share why I separate remote viewing, astral projection, and astral travel, and how those distinctions change the way I prepare and interpret what happens.
We widen the lens with respectful comparisons across human history, from Indigenous vision traditions and trance practices to the modern Western occult revival that popularized the term astral plane. I touch on scientific research into altered states of consciousness, then bring it back to discernment and spiritual protection. The astral can include guides, ancestors, and power animals, but also thought forms, tricksters, and energies that don’t deserve automatic authority. Grounding, shielding, clear intention, and a clean return matter.

When you miss someone and they suddenly reach out, when a dream feels too vivid to shrug off, when a “gut feeling” lands like a message, I see those moments as clues that the astral realm is already part of your life. I break down what the astral plane is, why it can feel disorienting for beginners, and how intention moves through this subtle layer of reality to create real world ripple effects.
We start with the unglamorous truth: safety first. Grounding and anchoring matter, protection matters, and discernment matters, because the astral realm includes supportive beings and energies that can confuse or drain you if you wander in unprepared.

Your intuition gets a lot easier to trust when your body feels safe first. We walk through a full energetic safety setup for Akashic Records work, including grounding into the earth, centering your energy in the heart, pulling your aura close like a second skin, and building a protective shield you can actually feel. If you’ve ever felt “open” after spiritual practice and then weirdly drained or foggy, this is the missing foundation.
From there, we turn the Akashic field and universal consciousness into practical steps.
