Jude Charles, The Art of the Story Mar 16, 2021
    Show notes

Jude Charles is a story-driven filmmaker, brand strategist & speaker. For over 15 years, he has been producing documentaries for purpose-driven entrepreneurs. Charles has produced docuseries for personalities such as Steve Harvey and Les Brown and continues in his work of using the art of story telling to put out a message.

Charles discusses the essence of telling a story. It is more than just gathering your facts; it is getting to the depths of the persons involved. A good story will have impact on the one hearing it because of its depth. He also discusses his roadmap strategy that is employed in drawing that depth for the story. Also, Charles talks about his upcoming book Dramatic Demonstration of Proof, which discusses how to tell your story. It is due for release in August 2021.

Philip Sharp discusses further the idea of what a story can do and why there is such a fight to control the story. He also discusses the story that is contained in the Bible and how it has the potential to have a huge impact in someone’s life.

Cassandra Spencer, Zuckerberg Is Always Right Mar 02, 2021
    Show notes

Cassandra Spencer is a former U.S. Army Public Affairs Officer turned Facebook insider turned Project Veritas undercover journalist. Her work has generated millions of views on social media, garnered media attention, and prompted investigations at the local, state, and federal levels. In one instance, her investigation led to a felony conviction. She is the author of the newly released book Impact: How I Went Behind Enemy Lines in Our Struggle Against the Far Left.

This episode’s name is inspired by a humorous joke from the interview. Certainly, Zuckerberg is not always right. Cassandra talks about her job working as a contractor with Facebook and how she began to notice the censorship of conservative material. This eventually led to her going undercover and leaking the practices to Project Veritas. She also discusses the need for reform in family court and her bid to run for the House of Representatives in 2022 for the state of Texas.

Philip Sharp discusses in the essay segment two words that Cassandra brought up during the interview: “Intellectual curiosity.” Do we have the courage to exercise our intellectual curiosity and truly observe what is going on around us? What would happen if our nation could be full of citizens who had the intellectual curiosity to discover and confront the things that threaten our liberties?

Lee Smith, The Elites' War on America Feb 16, 2021
    Show notes

Lee Smith is a veteran journalist for over 30 years who has written for Slate, the New York Times, the Boston Globe, and a variety of Arab media outlets. He was also a Middle East correspondent for The Weekly Standard and a former visiting fellow of the Hudson Institute. Currently he is a columnist covering the Middle East for online magazine Tablet. Lee is also the author of the books The Plot Against the President and The Permanent Coup: How Enemies Foreign and Domestic Targeted the American President.

Lee primarily discusses his article for the Epoch Times called, “The World Watches While the US Elite Wages War on America.” Almost unknown and absolutely uncovered, the article talks about the violation of Taiwanese airspace on a hitherto unprecedented scale. China always tests the seriousness or our leaders, but this move was a major play. Other nations are sure to follow in the wake to see what they can get over on Biden. Then there is the ugly war being wages against Americans by the elite class. The events of January 6th and the lockdown of the capital is also discussed.

Philip Sharp discusses the political mindset of the leaders driving the current Left in his essay segment. You thought they were crazy or out of their minds, but in reality, they know what they are doing. He discusses three basic points about their paradigms and the reason behind their madness.

Antony Mueller, No Property...No Privacy Feb 09, 2021
    Show notes

Antony Mueller is the founder of The Continental Economics Institute. He is also an adjunct scholar at the Mises Institute and honorary member of Mises, Brazil. He was born in Germany and graduated with a Ph.D., summa cum laude, in Economics from the University of Erlangen–Nuremberg in Germany. Antony is now the Professor of Economics at Federal University of Sergipe in Brazil. He is also the author of Beyond the State and Politics, which is coming out in a new revision and is working on Macro Economics for Business and Finance.

Antony mainly discusses his recent article for the Mises Institute called "No Privacy, No Property: The World in 2030 According to the WEF." The aims of this think tank are a threat to basic human liberties and has a heavy top-down economic control policy. Tied to this strategy is the rhetoric of global climate control, which will be used to control food consumption and where you live. In the end, this group, which is gaining footholds of power, would love to see the end of private property, privacy, and the reduction in goods consumption. You will live hand to fist from the graces of the powers that be.

Philip Sharp discusses in the essay segment an interesting tidbit from the past during the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan during the 80’s. The deployed Soviet personnel sold off government equipment and looked forward to using Afghan bazaars to get goods they could not get back home. Of course, the connection is that the USSR is a prototype for the agenda the World Economic Forum would like to implement.

Christina Dent, Should We Legalize Drugs? Feb 02, 2021
    Show notes

Christina Dent is a politically conservative Christian who supported criminalizing drugs until she became a foster parent and saw the negative effects up close. In 2017, she began hosting book discussions in her home state of Mississippi using Johann Hari’s book “Chasing The Scream: The First and Last Days of the War on Drugs.” Those discussions grew to hundreds of people which led to End It For Good becoming a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2019. Christina leads End It For Good from the same passion that led her to foster care – helping children, families, and communities thrive.

Christina discusses the bases for why drugs should be legalized. Among these are the current ineffectiveness of the current system, the added destruction that it causes, and the hope of getting a better control over its effects. She points out that she is not advocating drug use but advocating approaches to drugs that prioritize life and the opportunity to thrive.

Philip Sharp discusses the topic of drug addiction in our country and our approaches to dealing with it. He is not fully sold on the idea of open legalization but believes there is need for reform in some things that we do. In the end, Philip still believes that any approach without Jesus will be horribly flawed, simple as that may sound.

Terry Nightingale, Looking Back to Move Forward Jan 26, 2021
    Show notes

Terry Nightingale is the Pastor of the Southern River Church of Christ in Perth, Australia. He is a graduate of Vose Seminary and founder of The Best Is Yet to Come blog/podcast. Terry is also the author of the newly released book, Looking Back to Move Forward: Embracing Setbacks for Greater Fruitfulness.
Terry discusses his new book which focuses on viewing our past as a way of moving on. Rather than adopting an attitude of wanting to "forget" the past, it is better to make use of the past. There is real gold to be had in using our past rather than trying to avoid it.
Philip Sharp discusses in the essay segment the importance of knowing and honestly using our past. There is a reason for the struggle for many to try to control the "official" version of past events. This is because our past can form attitudes and mindsets that can last for generations. Finally, there is the appeal for each person themselves to not run from their past, but to use it.

John O. McGinnis, Poetic Truths are Everywhere Jan 19, 2021
    Show notes

John O. McGinnis is the George C. Dix Professor in Constitutional Law at Northwestern University. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review. He also has an MA degree from Balliol College, Oxford, in philosophy and theology. Professor McGinnis clerked on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia. John is the author of Accelerating Democracy: Transforming Government Through Technology and co-author of Originalism and the Good Constitution.

John discusses his recent article for Law & Liberty entitled, “’Poetic Truths’ are Everywhere.” This is a comparison of the hit show “The Crown” and a documentary called “What Killed Michael Brown?”. Both were trying to assert their views, both with two different approaches. “The Crown” used historical events mixed with fabricated occurrences to express their views. It is a hit series with many believing how events were portrayed are actually true. By comparison, “What Killed Michael Brown?” is a documentary that presents the evidence and providing commentary. This was initially resisted by Amazon as “controversial” (as if they avoid controversy or something). It is as if no one wants to hear the truth, but want to live in fantasy.

Philip Sharp in his essay talks about the one voice of persuasion. Ever pay attention and notice that there is practically one message and it is injected into every form of media and entertainment? This is more like collusion than expression, and is indicative that maybe the land of the free is in trouble.

Josh Elledge, Up My Influence Jan 12, 2021
    Show notes

Josh Elledge has an irrational fear of umbrellas. Try to get an explanation and you just cannot get it, but the fear is there. He is a US Navy veteran who has become a serial entrepreneur. Josh is the founder of Up My Influence, created to help entrepreneurs grow audiences and influence without the crazy costs. He is also the host of the Thoughtful Entrepreneur podcast.

Josh talks about the journey to get from 6-time failure to successful entrepreneur. It turns out being nice and liked matters and service is a component. That consumers hate being sold to and that most people even hate to sell is also discussed. Josh also talks about upgrading your business status and influence.

Philip Sharp talks about hard work in the essay segment. Being an entrepreneur or successful is often presented as simply having a dream and just sharing it. However, to get these ideas to pass takes hard work and perseverance. Also the idea of being nice and giving is talked about further.

Hotep Jesus, Discussing the White Liberal Jan 05, 2021
    Show notes

Bryan Sharpe, aka Hotep Jesus, is a marketer, performance artist, author and controversial figure. He is also a co-partner with coinbitsapp.com. Bryan has recently been featured on Fox News and covered by other media outlets by his trolling of Starbucks,, where he demanded his reparations coffee.

Hotep Jesus talks about race in our nation and that there is a different black viewpoint different from the liberal one. He also discusses the creation of his nom de guerre, the effects of Socialism and Communism, and how it is portrayed that blacks must think in a certain way. Bryan also talks about oppression, and that the white liberal comes to mind, not the conservative. White liberals literally have the power to destroy your community and the minds of your youth and have the power to hire and not educate you. Who is the real oppressor?

Philip Sharp speaks about a contrary voice in the essay segment. Black voices, meaning non-official black voices, have become more a part of the discussion in our nation. This is in part due to the reach of social media which initially had little editorial oversight. Philip also discusses the benefit of social media and the desire to not impose the editorial (dictatorial) controls that seem to be the trend. Do we really want propaganda approvers controlling what is allowed to be heard?

Ed Kressy, Addiction & Recovery Dec 29, 2020
    Show notes

Ed Kressy is a former drug addict and welfare cheat. Though he worked for a top notch company and had a great life, he still used drugs and alcohol to help solve problems. Ed was once arrested by the FBI, only later to receive a community service award by the Director of the FBI. He is also the author of My Addiction & Recovery: Just Because You're Done With Drugs, Doesn't Mean That Drugs Are Done With You.
Ed discusses the course of his life and his descent in to drug and alcohol abuse. The eventual effects upon his life are shared as well as the road to recovery. In all, this is a great tale of hope, forgiveness, and second chances.
Philip Sharp talks in the essay segment about the idea of how much fault belongs to society rather than an individual. The competing paradigms are compared and considered.
