    QUESTION EVERYTHING

There are celebrity interviews, and there are life-changing conversations. On Question Everything, you get both. Journalist Danielle Robay has a rare gift: she makes people feel safe + seen enough to tell the truth. Every week, she draws out the stories the world’s most fascinating people rarely get to tell– the heartbreaks, the risks, the controversies, the beliefs they had to unlearn to become who they are and every now and then, their thoughts on the Bravoverse. You’ll come for their story. You’ll leave rethinking your own.

    ——–

Danielle is also the creator of the bestselling QUESTION EVERYTHING card game series, which has sparked connection in thousands of living rooms around the world, and the co-executive producer and host of Bookmarked by Reese’s Book Club, alongside Reese Witherspoon. Dubbed “The Queen of Questions,” she brings both heart and rigor to every conversation — a background in political science, a Gloria Steinem Fellowship, and a mentorship under Larry King, whose legacy of curiosity and connection she’s carried forward across more than 8,000 hours of interviews with icons from Taylor Swift to Malala Yousafzai.

Find Your Unicorn Space: How to Reclaim Your Time, Feel More Joy, Get More Out of Your Life with Eve Rodsky (Part Two) Jan 13, 2022
    Show notes

When you have too much to do, and more life to live… reclaim your Unicorn Space! From the New York Times bestselling author of Fair Play and "the Marie Kondo of relationships" Eve Rodsky writes an inspirational guide for setting new personal goals, rediscovering your interests, cultivating creativity, and reclaiming your Unicorn Space. Today we talk about how to do that:

    • People report something missing in their lives—that is, unless they create and prioritize time for activities that not only fill their calendars but also unleash their creativity. Rodsky calls this vital time Unicorn Space—the active and open pursuit of creative self-expression in any form that makes you uniquely YOU. To help people embrace all the unlikely, surprising, and delightful places where their own Unicorn Space may be found, she speaks with trail blazers, thought leaders, academics, and countless real people who have discovered theirs everywhere—from activism to artistic endeavors to second careers.
    • Rodsky reveals what researchers already know: Creativity is not optional. It's essential. Though most of us do need to remind ourselves how (and where) to find it. With her trademark mix of research based, how-to advice and big-picture inspirational thinking, Rodsky shows you a clear path to reclaim your permission to have fun, manifest your own Unicorn Space in an already too-busy life, and unleash your special gifts and undiscovered talents into the world.

Gratitude Meditation: Peace + Fulfillment in the New Year with Jessie De Low (P.S. THANK YOU) Dec 30, 2021
    Show notes

Two days before 2022— the new year. How can we celebrate + reflect? And it came to me. I just want to say thank you. When I started the podcast I always thought about using the initials of PRETTYSMART, P.S. because each episode feels like a love letter. Today is my love letter to you. I think some years are questions, and some years are answers. We've asked a lot of brilliant people questions this year and one of the big takeaways I've had is that while it is really important to be a seeker, the ANSWER always lies within you. Everything you need is inside of YOU. This podcast, our guests, this platform, and most of all, your messages have made me realize that. And so I want to thank you for giving me so much. My wish for you this year is that you find both fulfillment and peace. In whatever relationship is causing you stress, in a work environment that feels frustrating, or even in your self work. Fulfillment and peace are both fluid I think. They are never going to be things we can grab onto all of the time, but they are good north stars. So whichever kind of year this is for you- whether it's one of questions or one of answers, know that wherever you are right now is where you are meant to be. As a thank you to you today's pod is a gratitude meditation to take us into the new year. Feel free to download it onto your phone to replay throughout the year. And you know this wouldn't be PRETTYSMART if I didn't hit you with some facts. So we know now that gratitude literally changes our brain— It increases feelings of security and connectedness. It helps squeeze out negative feelings, and keeps the good ones aroundd longer…positive emotions tend to be like Teflon – they slide off us way too quickly. Gratitude lets us hang on to the positive for longer, and celebrate the good in our lives that we might otherwise move on too quickly from. It's shown to help reduce anxiety and depression. And most of all it FEELS GOOD. And we are so today lucky because none other than Jessie De Low recorded our gratitude meditaiton. She is really amazing at what she does…people all over the world try to book sessions with Jessie and we have our own special session with her today. If you aren't familiar with Jessie's work yet, I am going to briefly introduce her. Jessie DeLow is a Certified Yoga Instructor, Art Therapist, Manifestation Coach, and Co-Founder of How You Glow,. Jessie provides life-enhancing, enriching, and enlightening experiences to clients across the globe. Her sessions blend her background in therapeutic healing with spirituality, positive psychology and neuroscience. Her goal? To inspire people to live the most vibrant life possible and step into alignment with their soul's true calling. And with that— Thank you.
