Isiah still has belief in Mike Woodson that he will be able to salvage this season, admits that some of the players on the roster don’t understand what it means to play at Indiana yet, and provides his perspective on how Mike Woodson is doing emotionally right now. Finally, Isiah backs up Jake’s opinion that Jonathan Bender would have been Kevin Durant if he didn’t deal with so many injuries.

    Isiah Thomas Joins! AFC & NFC Championship Game Preview + Pacers Loss in Paris Jan 24, 2025
    Show notes

    (00:00-26:48) – Query & Company opens on a Friday with Jake Query and Jimmy Cook wondering if the Indiana Pacers struggles because of all the distractions off the court. They bring back the conversation about Tyrese Haliburton needing to find ways to be more aggressive as a scorer when his team is struggling.

    (26:48-36:44) – As we do on most Friday’s, Jake and Jimmy take you on a trip around the country for the two-minute drill! We visit Kansas City, Buffalo, Philadelphia, and Washington to preview this weekend’s NFL Conference Championship games between the Chiefs/Bills and Commanders/Eagles.

    (36:44-44:53) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake, Jimmy, and Eddie debating if it would make send for the Pacers to pay Myles Turner, the reported, $30-million-dollars per year that he is coveting.

    (22:55-38:06) – Play-by-Play broadcaster Brandon Gaudin joins Query & Company to preview tonight’s game for Indiana against Northwestern. Jake and Jimmy ask Brandon for his opinion on the future of Mike Woodson, labels Michigan as one of the best teams in the country at adapting from game-to-game on what it needs to do in order to win, the performance issues of east coast teams after playing on the west coast, and him putting together a one shining moment video during the pandemic.
