    Can Indiana Sneak Into NCAA Tournament? Tom Crean Joins! Feb 13, 2025
    Show notes

    (00:00-35:12) – Query & Company opens on a Thursday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison highlighting last night’s win for the Pacers over the Wizards. Tom Crean joins the show and compliments Matt Painter for how he has adapted from year-to-year without using the transfer portal. Crean admits that he is still open to coaching but doesn’t have interest in going to a school where he has to pound his against the wall for support. Finally, he assesses if the SEC is here to stay as one the dominant conference in college basketball and shares what Thomas Bryant has told him about his experience with the Pacers.

    (35:12-36:42) – After a lengthy conversation with Tom Crean, Jake shares some of his takeaways from their conversation.

    (36:42-50:05) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake and Eddie discussing last night’s overtime win for the Indiana Pacers over the Washington Wizards with Bennedict Mathurin and Obi Toppin taking over in the second half. They debate if Mathurin should remain on the bench or go back to the starting lineup.

    NFL Draft Preview + Are the Hoosiers alive? Matt Miller joins! Feb 12, 2025

    (00:00-24:28) – Query & Company opens on a Hump Day Wednesday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing the monster basketball night across the state with the Indiana Hoosiers pulling off the upset against Michigan State, Karl-Anthony Towns dominating the Indiana Pacers last night, and Purdue falling short against Michigan last night.

    (24:28-37:28) – ESPN NFL Draft Analyst, Matt Miller, joins Query & Company to preview the upcoming NFL Draft and NFL Combine.     (23:10-39:37) – Purdue volleyball and Pro Federation volleyball All-Star coach, Dave Shondell, joins Query & Company to illustrate the growth of volleyball since his father became the first ever Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association president. Additionally, he comments on how neat it will be to coaching some of the best volleyball players in the world, explains the importance of a libero, and explains how the game of volleyball has evolved.

    (39:37-45:05) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake revealing which candidate he thinks makes the most sense for the IU to replace Mike Woodson.

    (45:05-1:10:11) – ESPN.com’s Stephen Holder joins Query & Company to discuss Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show during the Super Bowl and explains what the legal tampering period is with it starting in a month.     Super Bowl Recap + How Soon Will IU Replace Mike Woodson? Feb 10, 2025

    (00:00-25:38) – Query & Company opens on a Monday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing the Philadelphia Eagles throttling the Kansas City Chiefs. They also reveal which commercial they liked the most. Additionally, they touch on the Pacers surprising loss to the shorthanded Lakers on Saturday along with Indiana’s loss to Michigan.

    (25:38-40:46) – Radio voice of the Indiana Hoosiers, Don Fischer, joins the program and explains what the environment was like when the coaches were introduced in Saturday’s game against Michigan. Also, he agrees with Jake that part of the team’s success on Saturday was that the Hoosiers played more zone defense and finally played one big instead of both. Finally, he assumes that the new basketball coach will be hired almost immediately when the season ends.
