    (00:00-25:14) – Query & Company opens on a Monday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison touching on all the things that happened over the weekend. Jake also shares a story about Forrest Lucas after his passing was announced last week after the show. Plus, Jake discusses briefly the final preseason game for the Colts against the Bengals.

    (25:14-38:54) – The voice of IU football and men’s basketball, Don Fischer, makes his first of many appearance of the season on the program to recap his son’s first win of the high school football season on Friday, shares what he has heard thus far about Fernando Mendoza in comparison to what Kurtis Rourke did a year ago, highlights the wide receiver room for the Hoosiers, and identifies the interior offensive line as the unknown area on the football team.

    (38:54-45:37) – The first hour of the program wraps up with Jake discussing his trip to Milwaukee for the IndyCar race. He recaps Christian Rasmussen’s first career win and his experience at the Milwaukee Brewers game.

    (45:37-1:09:20) – Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison shift the focus of their conversation back to the Indianapolis Colts and how they might have shifted their thoughts on what they are wanting the quarterback to do. It all leads back to Chris Ballard and how long it’s taken him to address the position following Andrew Luck’s retirement.

He shares what he saw in Rasmussen when he decided to sign him, the situation between Rasmussen and Conor Daly in Portland a few weeks ago and reveals that Alexander Rossi and Rasmussen will be back next season.

    (1:21:32-1:29:56) – The second hour of the program concludes with Jake discussing something he noticed during his game experience on Saturday at the Milwaukee Brewers game because it’s something that he has seen change over the years.

    (1:29:56-1:56:39) – The Dean, Mike Chappell, from CBS4 and FOX59 makes his weekly pitstop on Query & Company to access the quarterback position with Riley Leonard having a standout performance against the Cincinnati Bengals. Will the Colts trade Anthony Richardson? What would it take for the Colts to trade him? Ben reveals the Bengals plan with Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase and other Cincy starters heading into the final exhibition game. He then gives his thoughts on the Trey Hendrickson debacle- could the Colts trade for the star pass rusher?     (00:00-25:21) – Query & Company opens on a Thursday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing what thought struck Jake’s mind at 2am about the Indianapolis Colts and where the franchise is at right now following the quarterback decision earlier in the week.

    (25:21-37:21) – Radio voice of the Indianapolis Colts, Matt Taylor, makes his weekly visit on Query & Company to share his thoughts on Shane Steichen electing to start Daniel Jones over Anthony Richardson, comments on how Daniel Jones benefits Tyler Warren, previews the preseason finale against the Cincinnati Bengals this weekend, and gives Jake some notes on Ulysses Bentley IV.

    (39:58-47:27) – The first hour of the program wraps up with Jake discussing the latest Caitlin Clark injury news and connects it to Tyrese Haliburton’s injury a couple years ago that derailed his season.

    Colts Name Daniel Jones As QB1! Stephen Holder Joins! Aug 20, 2025

    (00:00-23:13) – Query & Company opens on a Tuesday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing the news that Daniel Jones will be the starting quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts. They play some of the comments from Shane Steichen on the decision and explain what it means for Anthony Richardson’s future with the franchise.

    (23:13-36:17) – Jake welcomes listeners to call into the program to share their thoughts, frustrations, and everywhere in between about Shane Steichen’s decision to start Daniel Jones.

    (36:17-43:07) – The first hour of the program wraps up with Jake revisiting the early quarterback history for the Indianapolis Colts prior to Peyton Manning’s arrival because there are some similarities.

He points out a couple of things he said in his opening statement that stood out, explains why he doesn’t think Shane Steichen had much of a voice in the quarterback decision from the get-go, and believes that Steichen’s opinion on Richardson changed when he tapped out of a game.

    (1:54:14-2:10:23) – ESPN.com’s Stephen Holder makes his weekly appearance on the show to explain why he started feeling last Daniel Jones was going to win the job last week, reveals that Morocco Brown and Shane Steichen were the biggest advocates for drafting Anthony Richardson in 2023, has a feeling that Shane Steichen’s confidence in himself plays a role in this decision, and believes Daniel Jones won the job because he won the job based off things Shane Steichen values but Anthony Richardson won the job on the football field.
