Jake asks Nick about the recent play from Finley Bizjack, if it feels like Butler is starting to play at the level that was expected going into the season, shares his thoughts on how Braylon Mullins is performing at UConn, and comments on the job that Chris Holtmann.

    (13:55-24:32) – WTHR meteorologist, Sean Ash, makes an appearance on the program to share some early thoughts on how the weekend weather forecast looks in central Indiana and down on Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio border as well.

    (24:32-44:31) – Tony East from Locked On Pacers joins Query & Company to discuss his trade deadline expectations for the Indiana Pacers at the center position. He breaks down what he has seen from Onyeka Okongwu in Atlanta with him becoming the fan favorite center trade target, believes that the fog in Jarace Walker’s eyes is starting to clear up now that the Pacers are getting healthier, and agrees with Eddie as to how important it is for the Pacers to be in position to take one of the top prospects in the upcoming NBA draft.

    Pacers Trade Deadline Preview + Is IU Now a Football School? Dustin Dopirak, Mike Niziolek, and Brian Neubert Join! Jan 21, 2026
    Show notes

    (00:00-24:40) – Query & Company opens on a Hump Day Wednesday with Jake Query welcoming producer Eddie Garrison back after his day off yesterday. Jake and Eddie discuss how much, if any, of the IU basketball game they watched last night. It leads to a larger debate on how interested fans are now in the basketball program with all the success of the football program. They further that discussion by stating the athletic department has made that shift in the recent years.

    (24:40-38:44) – Brian Neubert from GoldAndBlack.com joins the show from LAX to recap last night’s loss for the Purdue Boilermakers against the UCLA Bruins after leading by six in the final two minutes. He credits UCLA for not quitting after a brutal travel schedule in the last two weeks and his adventure to the O.J. Simpson crime scene while he was killing time prior to last night’s game.

    (38:44-45:44) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake opining on what Mick Cronin said last night about UCLA’s conference schedule and how the Big Ten views basketball.

    (45:44-1:09:50) – Mike Niziolek from the Bloomington Herald Times makes an appearance on today’s show to talk to Jake Query about the historic season for the Indiana Hoosiers and start previewing the “off-season” for Curt Cignetti. Have the Hoosiers lost any key members to the transfer portal? Have they replenished some of the pieces lost with players in the portal? Plus, Mike discusses the upcoming celebration plans for the national champions.

    (1:09:50-1:18:08) – After concluding the last segment by comparing the predicted weather forecast for IU championship celebration on Saturday to what the weather was like when the Indianapolis Colts had their Super Bowl parade in 2007.

    (1:30:33-1:52:08) – The IndyStar’s Dustin Dopirak joins Query & Company to preview the NBA Trade Deadline with it being two weeks away. Jake asks Dustin who has been the most disappointing Pacer this season between Ben Sheppard, Jarace Walker, and Bennedict Mathurin. Dustin comments on what type of skillset the Pacers are looking for in their future starting center and settles a dispute between Jake and Eddie.

    (1:52:08-2:02:58) –Earlier today a Colts coordinator was linked to a head coaching vacancy, Jake and Eddie discuss that team’s opening and then examine how things have gone so far in this year’s coaching cycle.

    (2:02:58-2:12:51) – Today’s show closes out with Jake and Eddie discussing Seattle and the Seahawks with Jake’s admiration towards their old uniforms. JMV joins the guys in studio to preview his show too!

    One Final IU vs Miami Preview! Will the Hoosiers Make History Tonight? Don Fischer, Chris Dittoe, and Zach Osterman Join! Jan 19, 2026

    (00:00-23:23) – Query & Company opens on a Monday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing tonight’s College Football Playoff Championship between Indiana and Miami. Jake also talks a little bit about the significance of today being Martin Luther King Jr. Day as well.

    (23:23-35:15) – Voice of the Hoosiers, Don Fischer, makes a gameday appearance on Query & Company to preview tonight’s College Football Championship Game between IU and Miami. Don shares some comments that he has heard from Curt Cignetti this week about the Hurricanes, explains what this IU football team means to him, reveals if he will have any nervous energy in the final moments leading up to the start of the game tonight, and admits that he will blame Jake if he starts crying tonight if Indiana defeats Miami.

    (35:15-44:47) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake opening the phone lines for people to call into the show to share who they will be thinking about tonight if the Hoosiers are able to defeat the Hurricanes.

    (44:47-1:11:48) – The Dean, Mike Chappell, from CBS4 and FOX59 joining the show to weigh in on the Buffalo Bills deciding to fire Sean McDermott despite all his success in Buffalo, examines what the four remaining teams remaining have in common compared to the Colts, assesses if the Colts organization is not proactive enough with making decisions, and the collapse of the Houston Texans yesterday against the New England Patriots.
