Teen Movie Hell Feb 01, 2021

Show notes

On this episode, Elric and Brian pay tribute to the late Mike "McBeardo" McPadden - a film writer and film fan of the highest order who wrote a few books on movies and one of them - TEEN MOVIE HELL - is the focus of this show. 5 Films Because Jan 04, 2021

Show notes

To kick off 2021, Elric and Brian go back to the very beginnings of the show where they declared that their 5 film lists would "5 Films Because" as to open things up for the highlighting of not just favorites and "best" films in a category, but rather anything they'd like to highlight. As such, both of them have chosen 5 films to talk about this episode and there wasn't any rhyme or reason to the choosing. Just 5 films they each wanted to watch and films that hadn't really been chosen as picks on the show before. Enjoy!

Exploitation Arthouse Dec 04, 2020

Show notes

On this episode, Elric and Brian had the pleasure of welcoming back one of their favorite guests - TCM Underground Programmer Millie De Chirico (who previously joined us for our "Kiddie Midnights episode among others). Guidelines for this show were to program 5 double features each - consisting of one Exploitation film and one Arthouse film. It was a fun challenge and hopefully the results are enjoyable and perhaps momentarily thought provoking.

Millie has a new podcast called I SAW WHAT YOU DID. Subscribe and list to it here: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/i-saw-what-you-did/id1536199648
