    On today’s Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett is joined by Tim Booth, Seattle Times. Bill Krueger, “Old School Baseball”. And, college football preview with Jamey Vinnick of Cougfan.com and Christian Caple of OnMontlake.com


    Puck opens the show discussing the Mariners disappointing series vs. the Mets and the Orioles and the inconsistent offense. Puck also looks back to the Seahawks game on Friday and the dominant run game is once again on display!


    Tim Booth, Seattle Times, was in Williamsport covering the Little League World Series Classic with his son and gives a firsthand account of cool and special the whole weekend was for them to share it together. The players, coaches, kids and media talked about how special it was and a reminder of the power of baseball



    Bill Krueger, “Old School Baseball” joins Puck to react to the last two series losses and the main culprit being their inconsistent offense. Bill and Puck chat about the atmosphere in Williamsport, plus, the lackluster start from George Kirby, looking ahead to this week and the return of starter Bryce Miller.



    College Football Preview with Jamey Vinnick, Cougfan.com and Christian Caple, On Montlake, OnMontlake.com, Puck starts off with the Cougars and he and Jamey talked about the Cougars starting quarterback will be in the fall, the strength of the team, the new look offense, the linebacking core and a prediction on the teams record. Christian Caple breaks down year two under Jedd Fisch, plus, the growth of the team, growth of quarterback Demond Williams, the expectations of Jonah Coleman, what worries the Huskies and Christian gives his prediction for the season.

    On Friday’s, August 15, Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett is joinedJon Manley, prep reporter for the Tacoma News-Tribune discussing NIL in high school sports and Chris Egan, KING 5, is here for his weekly visit. No Jim Moore on this Friday as he is moving his kids back to college.


    Today’s show opens with Puck discussing the Mariners disaster against Baltimore. The series was filled with terrible offense and mental mistakes and Puck shares what he wants to see from the Seahawks second preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs.


    Puck is joined by Jon Manley, preps reporter for the Tacoma News-Tribune, who broke the story involving two Tacoma based high school football stars, Lincoln’s Sione Kaho and Mount Tahoma’s Elijah Durr, who have singed a Name, Image and Likeness deal with a local restaurant in Tacoma. What’s the future of NIL in high school and what are the concerns moving forward?


    Chris Egan, KING 5, is back! Egan has been at a fishing lodge in Alaska for the past week and comes back refreshed and ready to go. Egan details his fishing adventures and how much fun it was to get away. Egan and Puck react to the Tacoma News-Tribune story on NIL in high school sports. Egan shares his concerns and issues with NIL being involved at this level. Egan also breaks news in regards to KING 5’s Big Game of the Week and the change that fans will see this year.

Jim has regrets over his Cal Raleigh bet with Puck, because it appears he is going to lose it quite easily. Puck once again makes his plea for the M’s to sign Josh Naylor to an extension and they debate who will be in the rotation once the playoffs start and in the “Other News” segment they bring up history made in baseball over the weekend, Tommy Fleetwood falls again, Bonney Lake game time at the LL World Series and Edgar Martinez has a new job.



    Bill Krueger, “Old School Baseball” joins Puck to discuss the Mariners impressive home stand, Julio’s heater and being more comfortable. What does Bill think they should do when Victor Robles returns to action in right field?     Puck and Jim open up talking about Jim’s computer issue being fixed and they react to the Josh Naylor injury, plus, they recap last night’s Seahawks/Raiders preseason game. In the “other news” segment, Puck and Jim cover an unbelievable stat with Paul Skenes, rough injury for the Chargers, the Mountain West is being sued, a new unreal ice cream flavor, and they wish Bonney Lake Little League baseball team good luck in their regional championship game on Friday night!


    Puck is joined by Brendan Lempesis, who won this years Puck the Picker Majors Golf contest. Brendan is headed to Gamble Sands to play two rounds of golf and stay at their beautiful resort and guys, you won’t believe who he’s taking!
