On today’s Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett and Jim Moore, the Go-2-Guy, break down the Seahawks in over Carolina…barley, before they pivot to the biggest game of the year. Is Sam Darnold ready for the challenge? The Seahawks have the clear advantage defensively, but can their offense do enough especially in the first half. Puck doesn’t like that the game is on Saturday and Jim disagrees and thinks it’s not a big deal. After they get done talking about the Seahawks they can’t believe how lucky Michigan is to have Kyle Whittingham as their new coach!

Seahawks and 49ers, rivalry renewed Dec 23, 2025

On Tuesday’s Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett starts off the show recapping the Cougs win over Utah State and the strong finish from offensive coordinator Danny Freund. D.K. Metcalf is not only being suspended, but he’s going to lose a lot of money as well. 49ers and Seahawks are on a collision course at the end of the season and the M’s have a new slugger off the bench.

John Canzano, JohnCanzano.comjoins Puck for his weekly visit and they start off with some career news for John and pivoting to a new direct to consumer access. They also discuss the hire of Kirby Moore and his first coordinator hire, Trent Bray. John loves the move by Moore to bring Bray home. Puck and John also touch in on the college football playoff schedule, Oregon’s game vs. JMU and looking ahead to Texas Tech and would Kyle Whittingham coach the Michigan Wolverines?

Danny Kelly, The Ringer, chats with Puck about the weekend of the NFL, Seahawks two games from clinching the number one overall seed, D.K. Metcalf suspension and it’s going to be great to see the Seahawks and 49ers renew their rivalry!

On today’s Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett and Jim Moore have an abbreviated show on this holiday Monday. They wrap the NFL weekend and the position the Seahawks are in with the number one seed. They also discuss college football playoffs and the discussion of whether or not schools like Tulane and James Madison belong in these games. Former Seahawks receiver D.K. Metcalf was involved in an altercation with a fan, Puck and Jim wonder how long Metcalf will be suspended for.

Puck and Jim welcome Michael-Shawn Dugar from The Athletic for the “Dugar Report”. They chat about Sam Darnold and whether or not he has overcome all of his issues or are there still question marks about his play as they get closer to the playoffs. Derrick Hall’s suspension upheld, was it fair?

Before they wrap up the show, Puck and Jim touch quickly on Bobby Petrino being hired at North Carolina as their new offense, Philadelphia Flyers broadcaster caught on a hot mic and the Cougs have a new defensive coordinator.

On Friday’s Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett , Jim Moore and Chris Egan start off the Friday PME Show recap the crazy Seahawks victory over the LA Rams on Thursday night. The boys tried to put the win in perspective and where it ranks among the great Seahawks wins in franchise history. Obviously the biggest takeaway from the game was the performance of Sam Darnold and hopefully his play will give him confidence moving forward. They also discuss whether or not the best team won, but at the end of the day that doesn’t really matter.

They also chatted about the Seahawks and Rams and Mike Macdonald’s lack of success versus the Rams, and, they laugh and cringe at Seattle Kraken head coach Lane Lambert for only taking questions from a Kraken employee after Tuesday’s loss.
