While the media obsesses over Trump's "threats" to European allies, something far more significant is happening in Davos this week: Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick walked into the World Economic Forum and declared their entire model dead.

"Globalization has failed the west and the United States of America. It's a failed policy. It is what the WEF has stood for, export, offshore, find the cheapest labour in the world," Lutnick told the stunned audience. "The fact is, it has left America behind. It has left American workers behind."
