Luis Elizondo is the former director of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program. I imagine a lot of people listening to this already know about Lue, but for those who don’t: all you need to know is that he is a highly credentialed former counterintelligence officer for the Department of Defense who later went on to study UFOs or UAPs for the Pentagon. Yes, he really did that.

I had hundreds of questions for Lue that I had to condense down quite a bit out of respect for his time, but I think we covered a lot of ground. We get into some of my concerns about conspiracy culture, to what extent AATIP investigated the famous Nimitz 2004 incident, UFOs & Nukes, baiting UFOs, his feelings on former AFOSI agent Richard Doty, and so much more.

This episode I am joined by UFO researcher and archivist David Marler. He is the author of Triangle UFOs: An Estimate of the Situation. He has lectured at conferences, and appeared on Season 2 of History’s Unidentified.

We discuss what drew Marler into this topic, why he chooses to focus on Triangular UFOs, the value of skepticism, the problem of time when it comes to sifting through so many files, and much more.

David also shares some big news about his recent custodianship of thousands of CUFOS files going back to 1947 (including the personal files of J. Allen Hynek!), and how he and his associates plan to eventually make those files available to other researchers.

This week I am joined by real-estate mogul Brandon Fugal. Brandon is the last person you’d expect to have ties to the paranormal or the strange. But this year he went public as the owner of the world’s most famous paranormal hotspot: Skinwalker Ranch. He has a show on the History Channel called The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch, which is about to enter its second season.

We discuss what motivates him to invest his money and time into esoteric subjects and frontier science, how he came to acquire Skinwalker from billionaire and aerospace pioneer Robert Bigelow, Brandon’s own UFO sighting on the ranch, and much more.

This week I am joined by Lt. Tim McMillan. Tim is a retired police Lieutenant with a background in cognitive psychology. He has written for Vice, Popular Mechanics, and now for his own publication ‘The Debrief’ on defense related issues, disruptive technology, and more. He is particularly known for his work in uncovering a wealth of information on our government’s interest in UAPs or Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon.

Tim and I discuss a wide array of topics starting with his background in cognitive psychology. We get into why he decided to become a police officer, what drove him to speak out on the issue of systemic racism in policing, and why he ultimately left that profession. We talk about his UFO sighting, what eventually led him to become an investigative journalist, and what keeps him on the UFO beat. We also discuss consciousness, human perception, why the UFO topic angers me at times, and we get into a really deep discussion about whether or not our government is actively involved in a disinformation campaign regarding UFOs, or if there is really something to all of this.

I can’t recommend enough that you read Tim’s pieces from The Debrief that can be found in the “necessary reading” section of the episode show notes before tackling this episode. If you’re unfamiliar with the news Tim has recently broken, you’re liable to get lost.

This week I’m joined by Georgia Dow.

Georgia is probably best known online as a technology podcaster, but her main line of work is actually as a psychotherapist who specializes in treating people who suffer from anxiety and depression. We get particularly deep into the topic of anxiety. She explains what anxiety is, what causes it, and what you can do to treat it when it stops you from being able to live your life. We talk at length about my own recent struggles with anxiety that culminated in really terrifying panic attack that landed me in the hospital. We also touch on the benefits of meditation, the impact COVID has had on her profession and her patients, and much more.

I want to make a note here that even if you don’t suffer from anxiety issues, there is a high probability someone you know might. Hopefully this episode can offer some insight into a disorder that is all too often taboo. I can say from my own experience that it is all too real, and it really is quite fascinating to consider the ways our own minds can seemingly betray us.
