How Do You Live Like That?! | OFF TOPIC 142 Mar 05, 2026
    Show notes

Why are we all watching those rug washing videos like it’s a full time job?

You know the ones. The rugs are absolutely caked in mud. Brown water. Layers of mystery grime. And I just need to know… what were the owners doing in their homes for it to get that bad? If your rug looks like it survived a natural disaster, respectfully… do not invite me over. Keep that chaos to yourself.

In this episode, we spiral into the oddly satisfying world of filthy rug restorations, question people’s cleaning standards, and somehow end up talking about phone settings, location tracking, and how our devices basically know more about us than our friends do.

Also… remember when the biggest app on your phone was Paper Toss? When life was simple, storage wasn’t full, and your biggest stress was making that crumpled paper shot into a digital trash can?

This one is chaotic, nostalgic, and very real. You’ve been warned.

The Quiet Wealth Transfer with Paul Musson | EP. 233 Feb 20, 2026
    Show notes

In this episode, Paul Musson, founder of Paddington Capital Management and former lead portfolio manager of the Ivy Funds at Mackenzie Investments, pulls back the curtain on the economic forces that quietly shape everyday life.

With more than 30 years of experience managing billions in assets, Paul explains in clear, straightforward terms how central banks, government policy, and deeply rooted financial structures can unintentionally, yet systematically, shift wealth away from everyday people and toward a powerful few.

In his upcoming book Capital Offence: Why Some Benefit At Your Expense, Paul introduces what he calls the Paulitical Economy™ perspective, a fact-based framework designed to help people understand how money, power, and policy intersect.

This conversation is not about outrage. It is about awareness.

Posting online is a lot like going to the gym.You don’t have to be a bodybuilder to belong there. You just have to show up.In this episode, I break down why waiting until you feel “ready” is the fastest way to stay invisible. The people tearing others apart online usually aren’t building anything themselves. Meanwhile, the ones willing to show up unfinished are already winning. If you don’t have a lot of time but know your business needs a stronger social presence, this episode is your starting point. We talk about why a podcast creates a domino effect, how one piece of content can fuel everything else, and why consistency beats perfection every time.End with new Country Music releases and all of my Grammy thoughts......Show up. Post messy. Let momentum do the rest.

Password Burnout | OFF TOPIC EP. 140 Jan 29, 2026
    Show notes

Serious question. Why does my oven have a lasagna button? Are people out here crushing lasagna at such a high frequency that it earned its own dedicated setting? And more importantly… am I not eating enough lasagna?

Then it hits me. I am officially out of passwords. Mentally. Spiritually. Emotionally. It’s 2026 and we are still typing characters into tiny boxes like it’s 2009. How is this still the system and why has no one saved us yet?

And just when you think life couldn’t get more dangerous, winter rolls around and suddenly we are propping open kitchen cabinets so pipes don’t freeze. All good until you wake up half asleep at 3am, go to the bathroom, and absolutely wreck your chin on an open cabinet door.

This episode is a rapid-fire rant about modern inconveniences, outdated systems, and the oddly specific things no one warned us about. Come for the lasagna button confusion. Stay for the password burnout and mild household injuries.
