Dwayne has been a lifelong professional musician and he was a founding
member of BPI in 1999. Dwayne discusses how he sustained his career
based on grit and determination. He also reflects on the changes in
his life as his visual acuity began to shift from legal blindness in
1996 to light perception in 2011. Dwayne conveys light and hope
through his words.

Raw, honest, witty and a fast-paced fun read I couldn’t stop the chuckles almost shed a few tears and was so glad I stayed up the last night of reading because I had to know how he would tie it all together. the wait was worth it in spades!!
Leon has a wicked witty way of turning a phrase and the only innocence protected here is a few changed names. from the relationship evolution with his father, the bumbling navigation of San Fran and the gay scene in the early 80s to that infamous BRADY debacle. I was hooked and impressed.

Come one and come all to the Blind LGBT Pride ACB radio show. We are very happy and of course proud to launch this new adventure in advocacy, human interest and of course fun. BPI has always been the fun affiliate and that hasn't changed. However, we have always been a force not only in LGBTQ rights, but also in human rights and the rights of the low or no vision community. That is where this new show starts, but prepare for a lot of fun along the way. Every Tuesday night at 10 PM Eastern time on ACB Radio mainstream is where to find the party. All are welcome, and the only door fee is an open heart and the desire to have some fun and learn along the way.
