Prepping Academy Ladies - Interview Sage Rivers/Linda on emergency preparedness Feb 01, 2023

Show notes

On this episode of the podcast, Preppy Squirrel and PrepperNet Patty, two experts on prepping and emergency preparedness for women, embark on their first solo podcast adventure for Prepping Academy Ladies Night. Their special guest is Sage Rivers (Linda), who is the founder of the group PrepperNet-Sisterhood within the PrepperNet community. The discussion centers around Linda’s preparedness journey and how that converges with her long-haul truck driver career. Linda travels from coast to coast and must have the mindset, skills, network, and supplies necessary if an SHTF event were to happen while she is far from home. She also discusses the extra level of preparedness needed to have peace of mind that her ten grandchildren will have the necessary clothing and food and also the training that Linda needs if any other children are born into an off-grid scenario.
The three women discuss the Sisterhood that they belong to and all of the benefits of that, including education on preparedness topics and support from each other. They also encourage more women to join their weekly sisterhood Zello app conversations.
Linda ends the show with her top 3 picks on medicinal wild plants that will likely be growing in your yard this spring – so don’t mow them down.

Cryptocurrency Jul 02, 2021

This week on “The Prepping Academy” Forrest and Kyle talk crypto. What the heck is it and why would you invest? First and foremost, do you have food, water, and supplies for an emergency? No? Then stop. Crypto isn’t going to save your life. Neither will gold, or silver in a grid down, or WROL society.
One of the most common misconceptions revolving around silver and gold is that they will be the currency in a grid down, or major event. That fact is completely false. If you’re a Christian making the argument for gold and silver let me redirect your attention to Ezekiel 7:19. If you’re not religious and you’re just investing let me explain.
No nation which has deviated from a gold and silver standard has ever returned to one. If there is a full-scale market crash you’d be waiting on the devaluation of the dollar for your precious metals to be worth anything. By the time that happens violence will be the norm, supplies and goods won’t be circulating, and no one is going to give you a fair market for an ounce of silver because the actual value will be all speculation. And if there’s a grid down, what cash register or bank is going to accept it? None.
So why crypto? Crypto is the wave of the future. It’s the direct intent being spoken of across the globe by the powers that be; not just behind closed doors. The content of this podcast is not to be considered financial advice. We recommend everyone do their own research. Find crypto’s with vital utility and make the decision that is best for you!

Water and Water Shortages Jun 25, 2021

Show notes

Send us Fan Mail

Welcome to The Prepping Academy! The podcast this week is brought to you by Kyle and newcomer Miranda. They will be discussing “Water, Water Shortages, and How To Prepare.” With massive droughts hitting the western United States, folks in that region must be preparing for the possibility of water utility cutoff. The cascading effect of the drought means many utility companies have cut off farms which will cause loss of crops and livestock, making things at the grocery store even harder.
Miranda takes the wheel of the conspiracy wagon. She talks about the genuine possibility (and occurrences) of water utility companies being hacked and how these hackers might try to poison people by manipulating sanitation chemical levels.
Remember, you can only survive “3 days without water.” Listen, takes notes, and get to work preparing while you can. As always, please rate, subscribe, and pass us along; because - the more people that are prepared, the less you might have to put up with their whining.
