Ben and Lynley believe ministry is a team sport. Married 20 years, they have served churches together in Tennessee and Colorado while raising their four kids: Ava, Max, Miles, and Jack. In 2019, God called the Mandrells to Nashville where Ben serves as the 10th president of Lifeway Christian Resources. In 2021, Ben and Lynley launched The Glass House, a podcast hosted by Lifeway, where they have conversations with leaders who have experienced the stress of ministry.

Listen in to this week's interview episode on the Prayers of REST Podcast to hear Rita Schulte share her own personal story of grieving when her late husband took his own life, and how God guided her toward healing and into a ministry of coming alongside those who have survived suicide loss.

Rita is a licensed professional counselor who specializes in treating eating disorders, anxiety and depressive disorders as well as grief, loss, and trauma. She's also a radio host and the author of several books including, Surviving Suicide Loss: Making Your Way Beyond the Ruins.
