Melanie Weisner is accused by a 2+2 user of selling Lock funds in March at a profit, using a priority cashout system. The $175 PGA freeroll contest is announced. The sordid story of WCGRidger being allegedly scammed by UK player Josh Tyler is discussed, and once again Daniel "Jungleman" Cates is in the middle. The Full Tilt refunds may come much earlier than recently reported. South Point is finally getting their Nevada online poker room up. MGM's CEO thinks New Jersey and Nevada will share player pools by 2014. Longtime listeners delaware and TMMLK call in.

    Show notes Druff returns from a 10-day vacation after a stressful WSOP. Chinamaniac guest-co-hosts. We discuss the firing of UB cheating figure Bonnie Leinhos from her new job at the LVH poker room. We talk about PKR.com and their refusal to let go scamming pro Vladmir "Beyne" Geshkenbein, as well as PKR's own shady behavior involving reneging on deals with affiliates. Daniel Negreanu is talking trash about Tom Dwan in an interview. Is NioNio on UltimatePoker actually connected in a way to Russ Hamilton, or just a gimmick account? We talk about PPA getting an "unfavorable" rating in a recent poll on 2+2. There's a new poker show in development called "Poker Night in America", but does it offer anything new? Poker player Masa Kagawa was arrested as part of an Android Malware ring in Japan. The star of an upcoming CNBC sportsbetting show is actually a scammer. We break the bad news that Full Tilt payments won't occur until at least July 2014, and probably later than that. We reveal a surprising guilty plea in the Russian Mob gambling bust from a few months ago. Some baseball discussion occurs at the end of the show, as an elated Druff notices that the Dodgers have won their 27th game in their last 33. The site experienced crashes during the show, but the radio remained broadcasting and properly archiving.

    Show notes Druff relives his depressing end to the WSOP Main Event, just a hair away from the money. El Chico Loco makes his return, and makes a prank call to UB cheating suspect Bonnie Leinhos (now the LVH Poker Room manager) that is both awkward and hilarious. Druff tells of a terrible bait-and-switch promo currently occurring at the Revel Casino in Atlantic City, and Colonel Fabersham calls up to demand answers. Mark Newhouse has made the WSOP Main final table, and Druff talks about his history with him. Vladimir Geshkenbein finished 62nd in the Main Event, but apparently scammed his original backers. An old man attempted to dump chips to a perplexed Doc Sands at the Main Event, but it backfired badly. Druff plays a video of Dutch Boyd talking about his fallout with Scott Fischman, and gives his own opinion. Bryan "PrimordialAA" Pellegrino defends himself on a BLUFF video, regarding the Lock Poker situation. A happy ending is revealed for Rio theft victim Eric Sonstegard. Druff announces the site's new sponsor, StatClash.

    Show notes Druff hosts this one solo from a secret location. Day 1 of the Main Event has concluded for Druff, and he talks about his results and some key hands that shaped his day. Eric "Willing2Die" Sonstegard comes on to talk about a disturbing incident at the Rio, where the hotel's negligence allowed another guest to steal thousands of dollars from his room, and they won't compensate him properly despite proof that it occurred. Druff discusses the two recent female bracelet winners, and how they differ from the typical "high maintenance" female poker pros. A former host of "Loveline" reveals a strange secret about actor and poker player James Woods. Druff discusses the "Burger King Hat Guy", who allegedly walked away from a Borgata poker game, owing $2k to the pot and refusing to pay. Pokerstars has found another partner in New Jersey, after the Atlantic Club failure. Druff plays and analyzes the hilarious Doug Lee interviews with SrslySirius. The new WSOP Main Event bracelet is worth a staggering sum of money. joseythepussycat calls in, and offers Druff matzah ball soup if he wins the Main Event.

    Druff & Friends - 06/20/2013 - Up All Night Jul 04, 2013
    Show notes In this unusual episode, Druff broadcasts starting 10pm PDT from a Vegas hotel. Early in the show, he is visited by former co-host Brandon "Drexel" Gerson and Bobby Orr. Brandon does a 90-minute segment on his own, mainly discussing the Jasep situation, as well as explaining how he and Druff achieved Seven Stars status at Caesar's properties. Chinamaniac co-hosted both with Drexel and through a portion of Druff's hosting of the show. Erik Ryland calls in to talk about his success on Ultimate Poker. Druff calls a girl who gave her phone number to Ryland on Ultimate Poker, and pretends to be Ryland. Druff and China talk about the rapidly deteriorating situation at Revolution Gaming. Some sad news is revealed regarding a young poker player's health. The curious situation of a WSOP dealer knowing Mike Sowers would get bad beat before it happened is examined, with further clarity provided by a listener call-in. Druff talks about Ben Mezrich's apparent attempt to counter his book's bad reviews with shills of his own. Druff discusses the disturbing situation at Genting Poker, where they are cheating players out of "promotional dollars" on the Hendon Mob skin. TMMLK makes his return to radio after a long absence, but is immediately challenged by badguy23. lewfather pretends to be BeerAndPoker, but eventually both are on the phone at the same time. Court documents reveal that Wynn blackjack dealers make $90k/year, and Druff discusses what that should mean for future tipping. Druff criticizes Caesar's for making money on the Little One for One Drop charity event. Druff gears up for his return to the WSOP after a 16-day hiatus.

    Show notes Did Chino Rheem take $111,111 from Guy Laliberte for the One Drop tournament and run off with the money? Jesse Jett, accused of failing to keep to his Rio Deepstack chop agreement, calls in to clear his name. Druff analyzes David "Viffer" Peat's decision to stop playing poker. Ultimate Poker is coming to New Jersey this fall, but they're having problems in Nevada where their software allows for button-related angle shooting. Attack Poker signs convincted online poker payment processor Chad Elie to be a site pro. Ongame Network only had 31% of player deposits on hand in November, 2012 -- a bad sign for online poker in general. Poker pro Eric "Willing2Die" Sonstegard claims Rio employees stole $3k & an iPad from his room. Druff discusses the circumstances that led to Pokerstars' deal to buy the Atlantic Club being dead in the water. 2012 WSOP Champ Greg Merson is angry at private games being allowed in the Aria, and Druff gives his take on the situation. Druff gives tips related to the WSOP Main Event, coming up next week.

    Show notes Druff's exciting run in the $5k WSOP Limit event, where he finished 5th, is the main subject of this show. Chinamaniac guest-hosts. Druff discusses certain hands, the makeup of the table, and criticizes the 30-minute-delated holecard camera, which he feels changes the integity of the game. We talk about David "ODB" Baker's overly critical commentary about Druff while announcing the action on ESPN 3, and the reasons behind his anti-Druff bias. Erick Lindgren won a bracelet and $600k, but will he pay anyone? Druff talks about a brief feud he had with user JSTAT regarding some comments Druff made about older poker players. Matt Glantz wrote an opinion piece on eliminating the $2500-$5000 WSOP events, and we give our opinion on it. An update is given on the condition of poker player Kevin Boudreau, who had an aneurysm on June 14. We give the sad news that an 86-year-old WSOP dealer was killed by a car while crossing the street. Druff and China give some tips involving the Rio hotel in Las Vegas, where the WSOP is held. badguy23 calls in, but is depressed because he lost a lot of sportsbets earlier in the evening.

    Show notes Druff analyzes the hidden dangers of Nevada allowing other countries to join their online poker network. The trailer for "Runner Runner" is played, and Druff comments on the upcoming poker movie. Druff reads "Straight Flush" author Ben Mezrich's 2+2 posts and calls him out for his intentional mangling of the truth regarding Absolute Poker's founders. Chinamaniac joins the second half of the show, and the two hosts discuss Google Glass being banned from casinos. We talk about the recent WSOP offer to Kobe Bryant to play in Jerry Buss' place. The recent Hollywood Dave versus Tiffany Michelle twitter spat is discussed. We give several ideas on how to improve the WSOP.
