Show notes
John Siino reviews this week’s editions of AEW Dark, AEW Dark: Elevation, NXT UK, NWA Powerrr, 205 Live, NJPW Strong, Ring of Honor, and Main Event in under 15 minutes on Shot In The Dark.
This week on NWA Powerrr, we have the open draft for their Champions Series where champions Nick Aldis, Kamille, The Pope and Aron Stevens team up with the legends Austin Idol, Melina, Velvet Sky and Taryn Terrell to draft a team of five going into the series.
AEW Dark sees The Acclaimed having some harsh words and actions for Julia Hart as they team up with Private Party to take on The Dark Order and the Varsity Blondes. Diamante continues her ways to try and provoke Big Swole into a match, and Texas’ own Dustin Rhodes takes on Aaron Solo (who lost the W) in the main event.
And on NXT UK, Meiko Satomura defends her Women’s Championship against Amale, Tyler Bate defends his Heritage Cup against Mark Coffey, and WALTER and Ilja Dragunov receive some unfortunate news ahead of their upcoming championship match.
PLUS, Siino discusses the rumors with CM Punk and AEW, as well as recent signings in MLW and IMPACT.
Also, The Good Brothers make their return to NJPW in the Tag Team Turbulence on NJPW Strong, Quinn McKay tries to get her first victory as she takes on Mandy Leon on ROH, Ari Sterling and Grayson Waller tear it up on 205 Live, Eddie Kingston and Penta El Zero Miedo take on the Wingmen on AEW Dark: Elevation, the final ThunderDome show on Main Event and more!
