Angie's "3 P's" for getting big-name guests on your show:
1. PITCHING: Prepare a one-sheet or pitch deck for your podcast; find a direct representative of the celebrity; have a clear and informative subject line; say why this guest is important to you; describe what your podcast is about; tell them why they would be a good fit for your podcast; say what qualifies you to speak on the subject; give the invitation and what you intend to discuss in the interview; attach one-sheet/pitch deck; follow-up.
2. PREPPING: Request assets in advance: the official bio, talking points, preferred promo photo; ask if there are any topics to avoid.
3. PREVIEWING: Give your guest the chance to review all of the assets before they go live: final edited interview; promotional graphics; show notes with links; where to find contact information.
