    Podcast Vs Podcast

“Best friends” Piers and Erik pitch podcasts to each other in the hopes of fulfilling their lifelong dream: producing a podcast of their very own. Now all they need to do is agree. Podcast Vs Podcast is a podcast about podcasts but, more importantly, it’s a podcast about friendship.

    Latest Episodes:
    331 Pitch A Posish / RICE Feb 01, 2017
    Show notes

In which Piers comes up with all the fanciest, dankest, and 100% satisfying sex moves the world didn't know it was missing, and Erik starts an alarming dialogue about rice. A splendid episode if you're feeling under the weather and can only find succour in topics such as: Gorilla kidnappings, hyper-missionary position, the concept of forever, rice pilaf, Jesus' gift of death, the visual delight of two penises pushing up against each other, sex styles, minute or 5 hour rice, drunk sign language, and friendship.

330 Alternative Facts With Piers And Erik / Sex Advice Jan 30, 2017
    Show notes

In which Piers comes up with all the fun factoids his lying little heart desires, and Erik reveals many hidden facets of the missionary position. Possibly the finest podcast episode ever made for seekers lusting after knowledge in the following categories: Billy Corgan's "great" album, Donkey Kong origins, Boston area plumbers, a whale's milk sacs, accurate chair measurements, traditional facts, the dietary requirements of several animals, cheating, sexual positions for sex, and friendship.

    329 Burger Bros / Man's Best Friends' Best Friends Jan 28, 2017
    Show notes

In which Erik kicks open the door to a lifelong feud with the Denny's brand chain of restaurants, and Piers makes sure all our lonely little home-dogs have the rawest dudes in town keeping them company. A true fountain of knowledge, as long as you're looking to sip at a fountain of knowledge about dark wizard twitter accounts, a dog's passion for loneliness, Denny's make-it-yourself nachos, white sauce, two-party systems, social media marketing teams, wolf packs, and friendship.

328 The Shame Game / Burger Kings Jan 27, 2017
    Show notes

In which Erik suggests shaming ourselves and getting it all over with already, and Piers embraces Erik's newfound vegan lifestyle with a sweet-ass pile of hot-ass burgers.

    327 Wahoo! Boy, That Was A Real Rollercoaster! / 10 Under 10 Jan 26, 2017
    Show notes

In which Piers takes Erik (and the listener) on a rollercoaster ride that everyone involved is sure to hate, and Erik starts ranking children. A refreshingly quick set of pitches after a long run of 30-120 minute length episodes, this podcast is best enjoyed with a light meal followed immediately by a quick nap. Take additional episodes of PvP as prescribed by your physician, never exceeding 2000 episodes in a day. A great episode for people pining for the discussion of child stars, roller coasters, an unknown force pushing down on your sides at all times, amusement parks, Toad screams, lists, youthful ambition, letting the people know about stuff, Mario screams, and friendship.

326 Another Dumb Idea / Fandom Chance Jan 25, 2017
    Show notes

In which Piers finally puts his raw stupidity to work for him instead of against him, while Erik tells fate to suck it and spins his custom-made Rota Fortunae through myriad flavours of nerd. A terrific - just terrific - podcast for listeners who are hoping to unwind after a long day with thoughts of Pinterest boards, bag-watching, Pokemon genders, creepy old Japanese men, ethical freebies, Erik's trusting nature, Tumblr fandoms, the breeding and care of fantasy animals, and friendship.

325 The Bloids Boys / Signs Of The Times Jan 24, 2017
    Show notes

In which Erik brings you up to date on all the hot gozz you've been missing in supermarket tabloids, and Piers brings you up to date on all the hot signs you're missing by not paying attention to signs. We dredge up some old fish-wrapper - say the Weekly World News, circa 2011 - and delve into the private lives of Britney Spears, Simon Cowell, and Sade through the eyes of the devious paparazzo. Then we roll into some serious sign critiques, examining the artfulness and wit of the signs at the Women's March this past weekend. We stand with those who march, but even a just cause is no excuse for lazy copywriting. Really, the whole episode boils down to one big "Good for you!" mixed with a muted "Tut-tut." A great episode for anyone looking for a little taste of Michael Jackson's potential for lichdom, tugboat talk, a list of what animals should be allowed to lick, Christmas alone, the linear nature of time, the artistry of coffee or sandwiches, and friendship.

324 Wikipocalypse Now / The Great Tinder Experiment Jan 20, 2017
    Show notes

In which Piers helps all the WikiNerds on Wikipedia out there to fill the gaping WikiGaps in our collective body of WikiKnowledge (because he WikiCares,) while Erik tantalizes every dang gender out there with the first ever Tinder account offering the opportunity to date a podcast. Should you stumble upon Erik's new PvP Tinder account, please swipe right. This isn't an attempt to lure people out to the oil rig to help maintain our broadcasting equipment, we're just two raw dudes looking for a raw woman who can love an abstract concept as if it were a man. And if you can't believe that, maybe you're just not the lovin' kind. A great episode for listeners with an interest in ocean madness, potions, incorrect definitions of the word "niche," the lovely Fran, famous names, internet compulsion, sometimes not knowing things, Tinder, so-called social experiments, and friendship.

323 Two Guys, Two Girls, Four Pals, One Playlist / Curing Our Phobias Jan 20, 2017
    Show notes

In which Piers really amps up the friendship factor by bringing in fun friends to fix up the album your fave band should've made, and Erik realizes that there might be some profit in our natural state of being a couple o' big scaredy-cats. A good episode for podcast fans hoping to open their hearts and learn about desert island situations, Prince's top 6000 songs, true fear, custom albums, gals OR pals, brown-wave music, putting yourself in a shrink wrap machine, Smashmouth, and friendship.

322 Scavenger Hunt / Pinball Wizard (Featuring Erik) Jan 18, 2017
    Show notes

In which Erik proposes the grandest online-managed (real-world enacted) scavenger hunt that mankind has ever seen, and Piers finally gets serious about dropping some balls. An excellent episode for listeners looking for the latest word in pinball chatter, actionable scavenger tasks, professional podcast pitching, better podcasts than this one, Sarah Koenig's foolish mistake, misshapen potatoes, spray-painted pigs, and friendship.
