Show notes
Dave McDonald from Friends with Fantasy Benefits, Rotosaurus and EARTH joins Sara and Shelly for a series of debates as we enter the final two months of fantasy baseball.
Discussions:
Finding impact players on last place teams: We look at the Marlins and discuss Xavier Edwards, Jonah Bride and Jake Burger.
Late round impact bats: Both Brent Rooker and Brenton Doyle went after pick 200 and have been worth more than $20 this season, who would we rather have rest of season?
Second half studs: Four starting pitchers have been worth more than $30 in the second half, we debate Blake Snell, Dylan Cease, Framber Valdez and Bailey Ober rest of season.
White Sox Woes: Luis Robert Jr. has had a disappointing 2024, what does it mean for his 2025 draft capital?
The hot corner is heating up with news that top prospect Junior Caminero has been called up by the Rays. Would you rather take a chance on Caminero's upside or stick with the steady production Jake Burger has offered in Miami?
Sneaky good outfielders Daulton Varsho and Ceddanne Rafaela have similar production by wRC+, who are you more into rest of season?
Love it or Leave it:
Can managers just tell us what's going on with injuries?
The Olympics are great -- and will include baseball in 2028!
Shōta Imanaga fans brought heart-shaped Shōta fans to Cleveland and it was great.
