Piano + Sounds — Music
Piano + Sounds

This podcast started in the Summer of ’22 really as a way to encourage me to play through my old compositions and keep me sharp for when I perform live.
The focus of these shows has sort of shifted as I started to get feedback and seeing that people are actually listening to them and connecting with them. Now I’m taking my time a little more with each episode and focusing more on the quality of the content in hopes that we can grow something special here.
If you enjoy Piano + Sounds as much as I do in creating them, please consider supporting me in this endeavor!

Rhythm and Vibes Oct 28, 2022

Show notes

The rhythm flows, a gentle beat

That soothes the soul, a soothing treat.

A sense of experimentation, a desire to explore

New sounds and styles, to open up the door.

Creativity blooms, a peaceful flower

A force that brings us each new hour.

In music, it takes hold

A calming, soothing, story told.

Together, rhythm and creativity

A perfect pair, a duality.

They lift us up, they set us free

In this calm, cool, chill vibe, we see.

So let the music play, let it move you deep

Embrace the rhythm, let your body keep

The groove alive, let creativity shine

In this calm, cool, chill vibe, all is fine.

In and out of Groove Oct 18, 2022

Show notes

Chaos swirls, a tempestuous sea,

A turbulent flow, wild and free.

But as the storm rages on,

Order starts to dawn.

From the chaos, patterns form,

A dance of particles, a never-ending swarm.

Convection cells, a fluid's flow,

Emerging from the chaos, a pattern to show.

A single cell becomes a complex form,

An embryo grows, tissues and organs transform.

A crystal grows, atoms align,

Order emerges, a beautiful design.

Self-organization, a wonder to see,

Chaos turning to order, naturally.

A phenomenon found in all around,

Order emerging from chaos, a stunning profound.
