    Andy Toy, Development and Communications Director, Southeast Asian Mutual Assistance Associations Coalition (SEAMAAC), joins PHL Diversity Podcast to discuss SEAMAAC and how it has pivoted programs and services during COVID-19 highlighting the “Fight for our Future” initiative. Also, during these challenging times, Andy shares his top (3) recommendations for immigrant communities over the next 6 months. Founded more than 30 years ago by refugees, SEAMAAC stands as one of the oldest and largest refugee-founded agencies in the region committed to serving constituencies from as many as 18 distinct linguistic communities. SEAMAAC is committed to serving people regardless of race or national origins, building a stronger society based on the principles of justice and equity for all. As Director of SEAMAAC, he successfully led the conceptual plan for Mifflin Square Park in South Philadelphia moving towards implementing a $5.3 million improvement.Prior to joining SEAMAAC, Andy was the managing director of the now built Chinatown Community Center project the Krane on Vine Street in Chinatown, a $77 million mixed-use community development. Andy has been recognized as a thought leader and innovator regarding community and economic development.
