Tunnel Vision: Trojans struggle in Tempe on both sides of the ball Nov 08, 2021
    Show notes

Tunnel Vision crew of Keely Eure, Shotgun Spratling and Ryan Abraham are back from Tempe discussing the Trojans 31-16 loss to Arizona State, dropping USC's record to 4-5 and putting bowl eligibility chances in serious jeopardy. The crew saw first hand how the Trojans struggled to put drives together and tackle ASU running backs, allowing Herm Edwards' ASU squad to right the ship after a couple of terrible outings.

Besides breaking down the game, they also go into what they think of the two quarterback experiment, with interim head coach Donte Williams rotating both Kedon Slovis and Jaxson Dart into the game at different times. Could that be the issue or is it more about the lack of a big play maker in Drake London as USC has only scored one touchdown in the 18 drives since London was injured.

This is a podcast version of our video show Tunnel Vision that you can find on our Facebook or YouTube pages.

Special guest Dan Weber on Clay Helton going to Georgia Southern and previewing USC at ASU Nov 05, 2021
    Show notes

Peristyle Podcast hosts Keely Eure and Ryan Abraham are joined by former podcast regular Dan Weber talking about former USC head coach Clay Helton taking the head coaching job at Georgia Southern, the season-ending ankle injury to star receiver Drake London and they preview USC's upcoming road matchup against Arizona State.

It is great to have Dan back on the podcast following his retirement from covering USC football. Dan has been doing a weekly column on USCFootball.com, but by having him on the show again we were able to get a lot more of Dan's thoughts on this Trojan football team that has fired its coach and struggled to a 4-4 record.

Keely, Ryan and Dan also talk about the overall state of the USC football program, what is going on with the search for a head coach and as always they answer listener questions over email, voicemail and text messages.

Coach Harvey Hyde gives thoughts on USC's struggling defense and utilizing a two quarterback system Nov 01, 2021
    Show notes

In this edition of the Peristyle Podcast Coach Harvey Hyde and Ryan Abraham give their thoughts on the Trojans 41-34 win over Arizona in the Coliseum. A win is a win, but how good should USC feel beating a team on a 20-game losing streak by a touchdown at home?

The guys also talk about the very unfortunate season-ending injury, a fractured ankle, to star receiver Drake London. The junior wideout was proving to be the best player in the country at his position, and one of the only reasons to watch this Trojan football team at times. They also discuss the struggling USC defense that continues to allow opposing offenses to have their best outputs in the Coliseum and how the Trojans incorporated a two quarterback system with Kedon Slovis and Jaxson Dart.

Previewing USC vs. Arizona with Trojan fans on Jaxson Dart watch Oct 29, 2021
    Show notes

Peristyle Podcast hosts Keely Eure and Ryan Abraham are back in studio previewing the Trojans Homecoming game against the Arizona Wildcats, a team that hasn't won a college football game in over two years and is on a 19-game losing streak. They take a look at how this game could go with USC struggling at home and Arizona struggling in general plus how the Wildcats actually have a good pass defense and can run the ball fairly effectively, two things that could give the Trojans some trouble.

Keely and Ryan also talk about the chances that freshman quarterback Jaxson Dart gets his first playing time in the Coliseum on Saturday, give high praise for Drake London and as always they answer listener questions over email, voicemail and text messages.

    Show notes

The podcasting trio of Shotgun Spratling, Keely Eure and Chris Treviño are back for another episode of the Family Feud Podcast. In this week's episode, the podcasting trio break down USC's 31-16 loss to Notre Dame in South Bend. The Trojans sit at 3-4 on the season and return to the Coliseum on Homecoming Weekend to face a struggling Arizona team.

Coach Harvey Hyde reacts to USC's 31-16 loss to Notre Dame and gives his thoughts on the Mike Tomlin rumors Oct 25, 2021
    Show notes

In this edition of the Peristyle Podcast Coach Harvey Hyde and Ryan Abraham breakdown the Trojans latest disappointing loss, this time a 31-16 beatdown at the hands of rival Notre Dame. Coach talks about how USC continues to make the same mistakes week after week, game after game, and gets the same underwhelming results and how he doesn't feel this is interim head coach Donte Williams' fault, this can't get fixed until a new head coach takes over.

Coach also addresses an interesting rumor started by USC Heisman Trophy winner Carson Palmer who said that not only is he involved in the head coaching search but he thinks that Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin is a wildcard candidate to get the Trojan head coaching job.

Tunnel Vision: Trojans mistakes prove costly in 31-16 loss to the Fighting Irish Oct 25, 2021
    Show notes

The Tunnel Vision crew of Keely Eure, Shotgun Spratling and Ryan Abraham have returned from South Bend and are back in studio ready to talk about everything they saw at Notre Dame Stadium during USC's 31-16 loss to the Fighting Irish. There was no shortage of mistakes from the Trojans who gained more yards than the Irish but fell far short on the scoreboard.

The team also talks about how interim head coach Donte Williams said after the game that he didn't feel the team lost, they simply ran out of time. Was that really the case? The Trojans didn't score a touchdown until the 4th quarter so it took a while to find the end zone, but the Irish also had a 15-point lead and was knocking on the door to score again before taking a knee to end the game.

This is a podcast version of our video show Tunnel Vision that you can find on our Facebook or YouTube pages.

Tunnel Vision: It's rivalry week with USC making a trip to South Bend to take on Notre Dame Oct 22, 2021
    Show notes

The Tunnel Vision crew of Keely Eure, Shotgun Spratling and Ryan Abraham are back in studio after taking a break for the BYE week, talking about the Trojans tough road trip to South Bend and taking on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Irish come in with an impressive 5-1 record, but this doesn't look like the playoff Notre Dame squad we saw from 2020. USC has been better on the road than at home, could the Trojans pull off the upset here?

The team also has updates on some of USC's injury situations including seeing more of quarterback Jaxson Dart and defensive tackle Ishmael Sopsher at practice this week and if they feel those two could be a part of the game plan against Notre Dame.

This is a podcast version of our video show Tunnel Vision that you can find on our Facebook or YouTube pages.
