BREAKING: Biletnikoff Award winning wide receiver Jordan Addison commits to Trojans May 20, 2022
    Show notes

The USC football team got some tremendous news on Thursday afternoon when former Pittsburgh star wide receiver and Biletnikoff Award winner Jordan Addison announced on Twitter that he would be enrolling at USC. Addison was the top undecided player from the NCAA Transfer Portal and ranked No. 5 overall. With the addition of Addison the Trojans remain the No. 1 transfer class for 2022, increasing their lead over No. 2 Mississippi.

Tunnel Vision host and USCFootball.com publisher Ryan Abraham addresses this breaking news, talking about what it could mean for this USC offense, how the wide receiver room stacks up now, how many spots USC has left to add players from the portal and lots more.

This is a podcast version of our video show Tunnel Vision that you can find on our Facebook or YouTube pages.

Composite Two-Star Recruits: Jordan Addison officially visits USC, Trojans add Braxton Myers, Cooper Lovelace and Jacobe Covington May 19, 2022
    Show notes

The Composite Two-Star Recruits podcast is back with Chris Trevino and Gerard Martinez to talk about a range of topics. The duo talks about Jordan Addison officially visiting USC, and the commitments of safety Braxton Myers, OL Cooper Lovelace and DB Jacobe Covington. They also touch on the NCAA dropping the 25-man scholarship limit and a JUCO linebacker target.

Pac-12 moves quickly to eliminate divisions for championship game purposes May 18, 2022
    Show notes

In this edition of the Peristyle Podcast hosts Ryan Abraham and Chris Trevino return to the studio to discuss the breaking news that the Pac-12 will no longer send the two division winners to the conference championship game and will now select the teams with the top-2 winning percentages to play for the title, regardless of which division they play in. That ruling could have a significant impact on Lincoln Riley and the Trojans considering Utah, a division rival with USC, returns most everyone from their Pac-12 championship team in 2022 and the Trojans face the Utes in Salt Lake City this season. Couple that with the North being much more wide open with half of the teams (Oregon, Washington and Washington State) having new head coaches and there is a very probable scenario that has Utah and USC processing the two best records in the Pac-12, allowing them to rematch in Las Vegas with the conference championship on the line.

The guys also talk about the new CBS/247Sports poll that ranked the top college football coaches at the Power Five level, with USC's Lincoln Riley coming in at No. 4 behind Nick Saban, Kirby Smart and Dabo Swinney. They talk about the top-10 coaches and Chris tests Ryan to see how many of them he could name (he got 9 out of the 10 right) with Utah's Kyle Whittingham being the only other Pac-12 coach to make the top-10.

The USC roster continues to get reworked with a couple more additions from the NCAA Transfer Portal, JUCO offensive lineman Cooper Lovelace and Washington defensive back Jacboe Covington. The guys talk about what those two players bring to the table and where they can fit in on the Trojans roster. They also discuss the biggest name yet to decide where he will transfer, former Pittsburgh wide receiver Jordan Addison. Will Addison head west and finish his college career at USC or head to Texas or Alabama? The guys debate it on the show.

Ryan and Chris will be doing regular podcasts together going forward, so make sure you send in your questions addressed to them at podcast@uscfootball.com.

They also talk about USC's two new commits and some new official visitors for this summer.

Biletnikoff Award winner Jordan Addison is officially in the Transfer Portal May 04, 2022
    Show notes

In this edition of the Peristyle Podcast hosts Ryan Abraham and Chris Trevino return to the studio to talk in-depth about USC and the NCAA Transfer Portal and the now passed May 1 deadline for players to be eligible to transfer and play in the 2022 college football season. This week the Trojans added freshman All-American linebacker Eric Gentry from Arizona State and lost redshirt junior edge rusher Eli'jah Winston to the portal. There is also a lot of discussion surrounding the Biletnikoff Award winner Jordan Addison putting his name in the portal and USC's interest and potential involvement in that decision.

The guys also talk about some other potential portal targets, including a couple more player from Arizona State, what USC's scholarship count is following spring football and how the Trojans suddenly being a nationally hated program is a good thing.
